My family and I enjoyed our stay. The staff is friendly and quick to help! Pools were cleaned daily. Only complaint would be the parking. You have to park pretty far or pay for valet parking. Would recommend and will be back.

Excellent hotel

We enjoyed everything about Peñasco Del Sol their Breakfast was great, we also enjoyed the pool area for kids and for adults.

This has been the second time being at this hotel and it never disappoints us everyone is so nice and accommodating, excellent service, we will continue to stay a Peñasco Del Sol.

The staff was absolutely amazing. Big shout out to them all!! Keep up the great work..

It was amazing

I've stayed at this location a few times, but this birthday trip will be my FINAL time visiting. It started at check in where it took over 30 minutes and I was the only one in line. The longest check in EVER! I was not explained anything about the hotel upon arrival. When I got to the 5th floor, my room keys did not work. I made 3 trips back and forth to the front desk to get them re-programmed where the ladies there did not know what they were doing. I also had to go back to get my breakfast vouchers for my stay because they were not given to me at check in. After 4 attempts of trying to get in my room, Engineering comes and tells me that my keys were NEVER programmed. When I asked them to let me in the room, they refused and told me that I needed to go back to the front desk AGAIN. At this point, I wanted to check out. I asked for a manager and there was none. Room 505 door lock never worked and without using the deadbolt on the door, the door would NOT lock and stay secure when closed. The amount of times I came back to the front desk to reprogram my keys is completely unacceptable. The property rooms are run down and outdated, with broken appliances, scratched up furniture in the room but charge over $300/night...INSANE! The total amount paid from Wednesday to Saturday was NOT worth the price in staff and service received. REFUND me PLEASE. Ramon at the Lobby/Pool Bar was AMAZING! The one and only friendliest employee at the whole resort

Great stay

This property is very clean, and the Staff for the most part are very kind. We stayed at this resort from Monday to Friday. They did not have any bartenders available for the swim up pool and food outside. You had to always wait 40 mins to two hours for someone to come out of the kitchen so you could do some sort of poolside order.. they give you free breakfast vouchers and I must admit that was very annoying process. When ordering breakfast. I ordered a fruit salad and my husband ordered the Chilaquiles. My kids had pancakes. It took them about 45 minutes. To an hour to bring us out our food. Everyone around us had their food. Even people that arrived. After we ordered. Got their food, First. We weren’t rude. We speak Spanish. We’re not loud or obnoxious, but I can honestly say that was very annoying. And frustrating to notice that everyone would get their food First. I also felt like we tipped very well.. the drinks from the bar had no liquor in them. I had about two piña coladas and never felt a thing. I’m not a drinker, so I usually feel things right away.. the beach activities are reasonably priced. We will definitely be coming back to puerto Peñasco. Probably try a different hotel next time.. also, sidenote, if you order their carne asada fries which taste really good. Make sure you let them know to lay off of the nacho cheese. They drenched the fries in nacho cheese.. and I mean, literally drench.

Everything went well place was nice and clean I do feel like for the price charged rooms would be a little bigger and updated they are just simple rooms. Restrooms felt a little small for me. One big thing for me was you can not have your own cooler in the pool area I get it they have to make their money but I like my own drinks and I don’t have to worry about what to choose to drink. Complementary breakfast was good they have I believe it’s 3 or 4 choices but all good and service was amazing.

We loved are room and the staff was amazing every Time we needed anything and or just relaxing they always check in to see if we needed anything . It was nice to have security around the grounds
