You really don't need a rental car in Lubbock, Uber/Lyft very affordable, everything is in close proximity to this Hotel, great location and atmosphere.

New management was very noticeable from the beginning. I’ve stayed there many of times always enjoyed being close, nice hotel & great breakfast but my last experience was not the same by far. Was told when I checked in that I had to pay parking for every day I was there which was 5 days & was told by the front desk it was a new rule by new management. I also was told I didn’t have a choice & it was too late for me to cancel of course because it was the day of. Then I was told my room wasn’t cleaned because my own personal blanket was on the bed & youll couldnt touch it. I went down to have breakfast & oh my word you'lls breakfast has even changed with new management. The service wasn’t good took me 20 minutes for a cup of coffee & the grits tasted like something I can’t even explain. I hate to be a “Karen” as this younger generation calls it but unfortunately if new management can’t come close to the last management you’ll will loose business.

Overton Hotel is always our choice when visiting Lubbock, Tx. Nice rooms, friendly staff, excellent restaurant food and conveniently located both from the airport and to the University. Will stay again on future trips to Lubbock.

This hotel offers a pleasant western atmosphere and is very clean. The beds are comfortable, although the lighting in the rooms could be improved. It's conveniently located close to the university. However, I didn’t like the parking situation; the lot is located at the back, which means parking is a bit of a distance from the hotel. Additionally, the lighting in the parking lot, especially at the far end, isn’t the best.

Very nice and close to TTU. Staff all so so nice! We had a great steak dinner at the restaurant there. Would definitely stay there again.

Close to TT Hospital and Campus. Always a very clean and well managed Hotel. Staff at all positions are extremely nice and professional. Have stayed numerous times and Hotel is always in good condition meet expectations.

It is an upscale place to stay. Not a lot of children and the ones that were there, were very nice and kind. Quiet get away. They will definitely take care of you any way they can. Classy because there are fresh flowers in the lobby. Beautiful touch!
