Great location in Arcos. Fantastic views. Staff friendly and very helpful. Room large and comfortable with a large terrace.

Beautiful views. Great experience. But don't even think about driving to the hotel to drop off luggages. The road is just too narrow.

Hotel El Convento is one of the most beautiful, peaceful, and charming hotels in Spain. It is a great value for the money. We loved the view from our balcony, and the friendly and accommodating staff. And you might run into Rick Steves if you stay there; he has a room dedicated to him in the hotel!

We had a very nice and relaxing stay at Hotel El Convento in Arcos de la Frontera. We had an amazing terrace with a beautiful view of the valley. The town was right at the hotel, and the breakfast was also very good.

Fantastic bedroom terrace with great views. Downside was having to park in the main town carpark. We then walked uphill through the old town. I would advise getting a taxi from the car park.

The terrace off of our room had a magnificent 180 degree panoramic view from the church on the heights across a beautiful valley with cultivated fields and orchards. A flock of black birds lives in a crevice in the cliff below the church and flew in fascinating formations. Simply stunning at all times of day, sunset and starlit night!

A lovely hotel. Our room,10, had a balcony with amazing views. The room was small but comfortable, excellent for an overnight stay. The only downside was the TV didn't work, but that didn't bother us. Would definitely use again.

Amazing place. Great view, clean room and warm service with good breakfast. It could not have been any better. I would recommend it to friends and family.

Small hotel in the city center. Driving is difficult and finding a parking spot is even harder. But, the rooms are updated and the bedding was great. View — unbelievable !! Stayed here because it was a Rick Steves recommendation. Only disappointment is that there is a charge for breakfast.

Staying at El Convento is just glorious because of the view. The balconies are stunning with all the intricate tilework. The birds flying around the cliffs below, the bells from the cathedral, a bottle of wine....we didn't want to leave.

The perfect hotel in the perfect location. Rooms have balcony or terrace with views to die for. I've visited Arcos de la Frontera multiple times, but this is my first stay at El Convento. I'll be booking this hotel next time.

Nice hotel and friendly staff. View is great. Had a room with a terrace. You CAN NOT drive there. Best advice is to park at their sister hotel and walk (15 minutes) or taxi there.

The view was great. The staff was helpful. The location in the old town of Arcos was excellent. The arrangement to park at Los Olivos hotel was excellent since the lot was guarded and we didn't have to drive into the old town which would have been challenging.
