Where I stay every time I’m in Roermond

Very outdated hotel. The room was not clean. Especially the pillow was extremely dirty with hair, dust and black specks on it. Luckily there was a pillow in the closet, so I used that one. When I told about the pillow at check-out, the receptionist said they would swap it out. Hopefully they do that every time? No apologies were given. Also the keycard wasn’t working on some doors like the pool and dressing rooms. O had to ask to get it activated. All and all not a great experience.

The room was not clean and moister in the bathroom.

Lovely hotel in a gorgeous woodland location. Great for relaxation, walks, cycling etc.

This hotel is nicely located off a quiet country road in the forest. It is so quiet and peaceful here, with the fresh smell of nature all around. The hotel is in very good condition, with nice rooms that have a kettle with coffee and tea, there is a fridge and the bathroom is very good too. Breakfast is a buffet with a lot of choice, also for picky eaters, with warm and cold food served. The wellness area is wonderful to relax during your stay with a sauna, a jacuzzi and a decently-sized pool. Definitely recommend to stay and get away for a night or many. The staff are very friendly, speak English perfectly and are very helpful with all questions. If need be, there is a bar and restaurant in the hotel so you will never go thirsty or hungry. Most visitors are trekkers that are there to go out trekking early in the morning.

Clean and Nice area. The hotel is a bit old and not renovated for long time. Breakfast is limited, can be more chose in food.

Excellent hotel set in a beautiful environment. Very helpful staff

I only stayed there for 24 hrs and it was a good experience all in all! One thing that bothered me a little, was the staff at the restaurant. They were not paying attention to who came first and who got served. I sat in for 15 minutes waiting for a waiter to come and give me a menu and ask me what I wanted to drink. A couple walked in 10 minutes after I did (who were local and you can tell all of the staff knew them) who got served before me, got their drinks before me. I appreciate you have to treat the customers that come back a bit friendly and I have no issue with that ... But don't sit there chatting to them for 10 minutes while other customers waiting to be served. Again, I had a good experience with the rest of the stay... Breakfast wasn't good unfortunately.

Very peaceful and relaxing

Nice hotel in a quiet area. Good to stay for a weekend.

We had a short B&B break here as a family of 5 (2 adults, 2 juniors & 1 infant) and stayed in a suite. Location-wise, the hotel is ideally situated for exploring the Netherlands and Northwest Germany. The hotel's kerbside appeal is one of a welcoming, friendly establishment. Facilities are to a high standard and will appeal to a broad spectrum of clientele. An onsite gym and spa facilities were great to use to unwind each day. Breakfast is a continental buffet and again to a high standard. We did eat at the restaurant for dinner and whilst the menu is presented to a high standard, the variety of choice let's it down a little. Would we stay here again? Probably but, we tend to try not to do that as there are so many more hotels to explore. Would we recommend it? Definitely.

The hotel was just so-so. The staff was not very friendly with the exception of the spa staff. The room was o.k. but the sheets were not soft.

Wonderful hotel near the border with Germany

Business trip and I wanted a hotel with a swimming pool to cool off after a 4 hour drive. The Hotel is out in the forest in a lovely quiet position. The pool is superb with a hot tub and pool and in the pool a jet of water that you can swim against to improve your fitness (hard work but a great addition I wish my local pool had one of these.

Just one night, fantastic location on the edge of the national park, friendly staff, clean room with a balcony, good service and good food.
