Modern large (but not tower block!) hotel, a pleasant 20 -minute walk from West Gate. Generous room size, clean restaurant with extensive menu. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly & helpful staff. I’ll be back.

Great location for walking on Canterbury with plenty of free parking on offer. Maybe by a big roundabout, but you didn’t hear the traffic. Room was clean and tidy and offered ample room. The person who booked us in at the front desk was friendly and informative. Breakfast offering was wide and varied. Only issue was dinner was average at best, raw gammon from the carvery on plate was brought up with the server although she just informed the kitchen and then came back saying “they say it was cooked” and that was it, no apology. The only let down of our stay.

The building is old, has an old musty smell, has no AC. Bed was very small and mattress was hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. Walls very thin, could hear people snoring next door. Would not recommend

Breakfast was very good. Bedding and linen comfortable and clean. Sink flow and the washroom fan was an issue. Otherwise would recommend and probably be back.

The staff upgraded us half way through our stay as we were up 2 flights of steps and my husband was really struggling. They were absolutely fantastic , always helpful and friendly . The restaraunt was well staffed , clean with lovely food. Nothing was too much trouble , ideal for visiting Canterbury

Perfectly located for an overnight on the Euro Tunnel. Breakfast was delicious. Buffet style or cooked. Large carpark. I had a ground floor room- minimal noise at night. (Although the bathroom door needs an oil!) good shower for my 1.8m but if you’re taller then it’s a little low! Hard water so needed to unclog a few of the jets in the shower head but good pressure and temperature. Beds comfortable enough. Restaurant attached really nice for evening meals. Bar was lovely too.

Excellent hotel, great rooms, great food all at a reasonable price. Would have expected to pay for this standard. Location good as well, only ten minutes walk from the centre. Staff great as well?
