Not having an AC the only thing that matters

Nice, well kept property. I only had one night stay in Luxembourg and this was perfect. Downside- lots of noise outside at night

The hotel was easy to locate; we boarded the Luxtram from the airport and alighted at Place de Paris - the hotel was approximately 60 yards away from the tram stop! The hotel reception was very clean and the ladies at reception were always very friendly, informative and helpful. The continental breakfast was very good; plenty of choice: cheeses/meat/cereals/bread/jams/pastries/boiled eggs/tea and coffee. The hotel was only two tram stops away (Hamilius) from the centre/old town. Would recommend this hotel.

Is a extremely oldfashioned hotel. The bed/pillow was horrendous. I could not sleep well. Very convenient location and transportation.

Breakfast times were too late for weekdays

The hotel room was okay, but the overall experience was disappointing. We arrived at 2 AM, and no one was there to let us in. We had to wait in the cold until someone finally arrived. The staff struggled to find our reservation and couldn’t track it in their system. They eventually gave us a room, but we had to complete the check-in process in the morning. What’s worse, there was no mention anywhere that late check-in wasn’t allowed. This lack of communication and poor organization made the experience frustrating and inconvenient. Would not recommend for late-night arrivals.

The hotel is really good, but the smell in the room just makes it feel like it's not well ventilated.

Room ok size wise. No kettle or tea and coffee

The hotel has a convenient location near one of the tram lines with lots of places to eat out nearby also. The room was very comfortable and clean. Despite being on the fifth floor there was a bit of noise coming from the street below when the bin men arrived at 6 or 7am, but this was a minor inconvenience. Breakfast each morning was very enjoyable. Staff were always pleasant. When next in Luxembourg City I hope to be able to stay in Hotel Christophe Colomb again.

Quite and nice place

Excellent location, near the centre and Avenue the la Liberté, the prettiest in town. Room is spacious and comfy, however the water pressure of the shower could be stronger. Easy parking at P&R Bouillon (1st 24hs free and then €10 a day) just 7 minutes by bus, which is free. Staff was friendly and helpful but the street is a bit noisy because of bars and restaurants nearby, but I would definitely come back and recommend it.

Overall a good option for simple solo travel.

A very convenient location, close to the beautiful old town, trams and the train station. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the breakfasts were delicious. We will definitely stay here again.

Convenient and comfortable small hotel close to railway station but not too close (it is in a nicer area). Very close to transport links (transport all free). Plenty of bars, cafes, and restaurants nearby. Hotel room pleasant and large with TV with some English channels. WIFI worked well. Good buffet breakfast. Only criticism was that check in was painfully slow. There was 3 people ahead of us and we had to wait half an hour to check in. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay finding the hotel nice and convenient.
