This hotel is a once in a lifetime experience. Worth every penny. It blows your mind. We could have stayed forever. If you have a fitbit you will know. I had a 91 sleep. Excellent breakfast and very happy friendly staff. A proper 5 star unique experience. Try it

Beautiful environment.

We stayed here 5 nights and had a wonderful relaxing time. The hotel is in tranquil location, only the birds can be heard singing, there are wonderful views over the olive groves with the mountains in the distance. The owners were so friendly and helpful. They take such an interest in their guests, ensuring that everything is to your satisfaction. They suggested places to visit and things to do, nothing was too much trouble. We ate at the hotel every night, the food was absolutely fantastic, there also is an excellent range of wines. We would highly recommend this place for service, location and relaxing.

Great place to relax, delicious food (good variety, good chief), all rooms have character, staff are uniformly excellent and it is clearly a family affair. You could easily use it as your base for Granada (we didnt), and three nights did not feel too long. Minor drawbacks? none

The most beautiful and serene place we have ever stayed at in all our travels to Europe! The beauty and serenity envelopes guests from the moment they arrive, and the owners welcome you and take care of every detail to ensure a truly wonderful experience as their guests!! Our room was impeccably decorated ( the whole property inside and out is as well), and the dining experiences for each meal throughout the day was perfectly prepared and presented. I have food allergies and also am gluten free, and Silvia agave special attention that my dining options were taken care of each day with such professionalism and thoughtfulness. Every staff member we interacted with each day were so very kind and friendly which further enhanced our experience. I would highly recommend this hotel without hesitation…our 3 night stay exceeded our expectations! We hope to return in the future!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Cortijo del Marques. It’s a wonderfully relaxing environment. Beautiful views. Easy to get to Granada using our rental car. Friendly and efficient service. We look forward to returning one day.

Wonderful place to complete our tour of southern Spain! The location, food and service greatly exceeded our expectations. The staff, including the owners, facilitated our exploration of Granada and were pleasantly engaging. And did I mention the food, our best meals in Spain! Highly recommend without reservation

This was a unique and wonderful experience, we were treated like old friends by the owners and had all our needs met. The location was spectacular, both close to the Alhambra by car, but also pastoral and peaceful for walks in the olive grove. Our room was whimsical and delightful. Highly recommend!

This is a wonderful rural hotel in an historic, beautiful building. It is in the midst of lovely countryside north of Granada. The hosts are amazing and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms are very well appointed and the dinner and breakfasts are excellent. We would not hestitate to return if we are in the vicinity

The hotel is in a stunning location, surrounded by coloured fields, olive groves and mountains, which make for the most amazing views. Our room (The Pigeon Loft) was perfect, very much our taste. A totally unique space, just the right mix of rustic/rural and luxury style. A huge room with incredible views, everything we needed. All the staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially in the restaurant. The food was all delicious, not too over the top and pretentious, just extremely good quality, delicious food. The wine was also great. The two owners, Eilko and Silvia were very friendly and helpful, they have clearly worked very hard to set up something quite unique and they have succeeded! Thank you for a great stay, we hope to return one day.

Beautiful countryside hotel, surrounded by olive groves with views of mountains in the distance. We had a wonderful time here, relaxing, mountain biking, exploring nearby Granada and enjoying the fantastic food and drink. The hosts were knowledgeable and welcoming. We will be back!
