Have stayed here before. Great hotel. Great food. Great service. Would recommend. Would stay at this hotel again.

No Croissants in sight! Everything else was super.

Made to feel that we didn't 'fit' by the approach of one of the breakfast staff. Uncomfortable with seating placement at breakfast. Questioned by a fellow resident if we had a room there, then proceeded to walk to our door and watch as we used the key and the door opened. Was my birthday weekend, the picture of the room on the site looked a dream, yet in reality I regret the choice to book at Botany Bay. Having said that, the receptionist on arrival was very welcoming.

Great little hotel, could do with a little money spent on it to update, and a little overpriced.

Amazing location, friendly staff and lovely room overlooking the sea.

The hotel has a great position and large car car park. Check in was easy and receptionist was friendly. However decor ahowing aigns of wear and tear. Bathroom requires re decoration and grout around tiles in window light need attention. Due to building being mainly wooden, neighbours can be heard. Alao note.tbis hotel.is dog friendly and animals are allowed in restaurant. Breakfast is cooked to order and was tasty but service was very slow considering only 3 others.tables seated on our arrival

The hotel was right on the sea front. We took our dog and was made to feel very welcome. Certain areas were restricted but there was ample room to dine in comfort with the dog.

Staff were very friendly and it’s in a beautiful setting. The only issue was the noise that could be heard through the walls and above from other rooms. Appreciate not too much you can do in an older hotel, as that was the way the hotel was built. But be prepared that you can hear people, so it doesn’t give a restful night. Saying that though, we had a lovely stay. Nice good in the restaurant and the breakfast was of a very high standard.

Well located hotel with excellent view. generally speaking friendly, clean, comfortable hotel, I like very much.however, I witnessed frictions between guests and member of stuff and I felt waiter/ waitress need further training to learn how to handle difficult problems with customers. I wish they had much thinner duvet for hot summer and do not allow dogs for the braekfast room.

Beautiful setting, staff were so helpful, polite and smiley - could not fault them. Food very good. Bed could have been a little more comfortable and shower dripped all night. Bath too narrow for me to shower properly -felt unsafe standing in the bath.

Customer Service, food, bed, room all excellence Walls and floor/ceiling were very thin so you could hear everything from the other rooms which affected sleep. TV did not work as the remote did not change channels

We had a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend the hotel. The staff were attentive and friendly. Reception lady Laura was lovely and the perfect welcome. The breakfast has great options and good quality. The restaurant and bar again have great options. Lovely views. Nice coastal walks in your doorstep and nearby hot spots. The room was decent, clean, and tidy. We will be sure to come back again in the future.

This is our second stay, breakfast was lovely and freshly cooked. The only watch out is the parking.

Wow! Gorgeous location, beautiful room and amazing staff. I had mentioned it was my birthday and was given a card and a bottle of bubbly! We’ll be back!
