We loved our stay. Our room was one of the 5th floor apartment style rooms which was unique and let us spread out a bit. The kitchenette was welcome. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the decor. Safe convenient area. Easy walk to the main train station and a large Coop.

Room did not have AC unit if you open the windows to cool the room you hear the street noise from cars and trams making it difficult to sleep.

Cool old property with a fun vibe. The hotel has been upgraded but a lot of the original features were retained!

We stayed in the Junior Suite and it offered a nice layout for a family of 4. The location walkable to the Old Town and there was a delicious restaurant in the building.

Perfect for short trip

It’s a good property except of 1 thing for me which is the portable air conditioning as it was so loud. I was told that the built in ac isn’t working because the building is old. We had to turn that machine off before sleeping because of the noise. Positives - walking distance to old and central are including Zurich HB + Dining options around. People at the Reception was nice too.

We were on the top floor and the air conditioner did not work. Had to sleep in 80° plus room. They did give us a small portable unit that didn’t help. Pretty miserable experience.

Stay away from the Suite room on top floor as there is a roof deck where they throw private parties with noise past midnight. Not ideal for families!

Small tiny rooms. Otherwise all good

The property is in good condition and located in a good area. It is accesible to various places around the area, which is very nice.

Clean and comfy. Close to public transit. Easy walk to cafes, restaurants, and points of interest.

Great location, extremely nice staff, amazing coffee, comfortable room with adequate size. Can’t think of something that I didn’t like (except the big and heavy key chain they use for the room key)

Really cool hotel but the room we stayed in is minuscule with very limited space to walk around the bed, let alone put luggage out.

The attic suite is really top notch. Felt like staying in a city apartment; stylish and functional. Nice sitting area and efficiency kitchen, which was great for the night we brought take out back to the hotel. We brought our dog with us and this hotel is always welcoming of our pet. The bathroom could use some maintenance, but this is a minor complaint. The property is situated in a very walkable area and there are lots of entertainment and eating options. The main train station is a walkable distance from the hotel. When interacting with property staff you can be as ‘noticed’ or ‘unseen’ as you like. We saw that as a plus. Only real minus is the Expedia VIP perk; they give one pass for the onsite breakfast and as we are a couple this doesn’t really end up as a perk when you have to pay out of pocket for one of the meals. Based on a past stay we passed on the breakfast based on this alone, as it isn’t worth the cost of the breakfast meal for one.

Easy checkin and friendly staff. Rooms were on the small side.
