The shower was almost non functioning.

This Hostal is all about location everything else is not good, the room super small with a mini TV almost in the ceiling , no windows, dirty carpets. I do understand is a hostal located on the heart of gran via but They can do a lot better. The staff or the lady in the reception was very kind and helpful. I can’t stay in such a small place like this one that does not look like the pictures. No thanks

Great location. Rooms very small and simple. Needs some maintenance overall. Location makes up for the shortcomings. Dont bring large luggage!

cannot beat the location, but this was too "backpacker" level (e.g., no place to charge one's laptop except in the "suitcase" place: maybe some topological rearrangement of the room could help, but ad is I'd pass next time...

The property i belive is over rating. High price for what your get. Room are ok bathroom dirty, the carpet is in back chape and the internet was very bad. Only in one area. The only good thing was the location otherwise is not working. This was my only and last time staying there.

The location of the property was excellent. The rooms though lacked air conditioning quality in the middle of summer.

The windows did not shut, therefore you could smell when someone was smoking downstairs on the street. The shower head didn’t work and the door didn’t close, therefore all the water kept getting in the floor. It was old and dirty. Every time I went to the restroom I felt I was in bar bathroom

Nice place to stay

Bargain room right on Gran Via. Small and no frills. Main issue was that the front door did not open with key provided and needed to be buzzed inn. They were responsive via whatsapp, however this is a concerning issues.

Please stay away from this property, I would rather sleep in the airport. I paid $150.00 for a dirty place. The only good feature is location. They should learn from hotels in Tokyo and Osaka! Small rooms can be clean and cozy, specially when they charged $150.00 per night! Hotel.com should remove them from its website,

Excellent location - only 1 metro transfer station from the airport (~40mins). Very basic, aged but clean enough, comfy bed. Friendly staff, but communication gap about the difficulty of opening the HUGE, HEAVY (but beautiful vintage) front door after hours left me stranded and frustrated on the footpath at 1.30am (I had to get the shopkeeper next door to call the overnight porter to let me in). I only paid AUD $124/night so I feel given the location, it was good value. I wouldn't pay any more.

Looks nothing like on the pictures. Very run down. Dust is embedded in switches, doors and walls are damaged. Tiny room. Bathroom very dated too. It shouldn't be allowed to charge so much and provide so little to the customer. The state of the bathroom rug - falling apart and totally worn off) illustrated perfectly the hotel standards (shame I wasn't able to upload pics for some reason). I was also given dodgy keys and couldn't get in at 2:30am in the morning. Reception seems to be doing A la Carte hours so don't rely on info provided on the hotel page. The location is the only positive here. Staff were pretty friendly too I'll give you that. I've stayed in many budget hotels including cheap motels in LA and this is the worst hotel I've stayed in to date.

Great location, very friendly and helpful staff. Very tiny bathroom, but since the hotel is central, limited space should be expected. Overall a nice experience.

Basic, just ok hotel. Tiny bathroom. No A/C (allegedly due to government regulations but no warning ahead of time). Would only use if no other options available-like in this case). Staff was helpful.
