An incredible stay at Villa Neri for my wife and I. The room was large (Deluxe) and had one of the best bathrooms I had ever seen. The food at the Hotel is easily the best I have had at a hotel and deserving of a Michelin star. We were also very big fans of the hotel cats and their kittens and enjoyed seeing them treated well by staff. Only small points of feedback - the hotel sometimes felt understaffed, particularly at the pool bar during the day. The only other thing was the dated entertainment system in the room which you might expect to be a bit more modern for a hotel of this calibre. Otherwise a brilliant hotel all around.

Our stay at the Villa Neri was wonderful. The area is quiet and peaceful. The staff were all courteous and amazing. The hotel itself is a little bit secluded so driving is recommended if you want to get around and explore yourself. There are many things available to do at the resort: spa facilities, pool, tours of the winery, etc. The food was amazing. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in a relaxing atmosphere for their trip.

Loved the property but didn’t find the front desk to be very helpful. Almost like any question asked was an inconvenience.

It’s been a very long time since I’ve stayed at a hotel with such attentive staff. Amazing place and amazing staff. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. One issue was there is no gym or free airport transfer like it says on hotels.com.

Overall a lovely hotel and setting but a few things which let the hotel down. We have stayed in around 30 SLHs, and small things here which overall let down the "luxury" status. At breakfast you pay extra if you want omelette, fried egg or a vegetable juice for example... we had booked the restaurant for one evening prior to our stay (we went out the other night) but they failed to tell us they had an event on so we were unable to actually eat in the restaurant and got put in the breakfast room (we would happily have chosen to eat at the hotel restaurant another night instead had they told us this way the case). Wellness area was lovely, but i had a massage there which consisted of being rubbed very quickly rather than actually massaged (bit odd), and as i was pregnant they sat me up rather than putting me on my side which was less comfortable. Finally upon leaving i had left a bag of bottles and toiletries separately to our suitcase which had clearly been flung on the floor in the storage room smashing 2 glass bottles and ruining a lot of my belongings. Gorgeous pool area, very relaxing area, lovely clean hotel and nice toiletries.. a shame that these things let down our stay.

An outstanding location with Etna in view. Peaceful and comforatble accommodation. Small but very hard working group of staff Only 'downside' is its remote location. No taxi service and although the hotel will often offer complimentary lifts to local restauarants, vineyeards etc, at times they do not have capacity.

Luckily, we had a GPS, simce the turns are quick and the roads are rugged on the way there. But the stay is so well worth it. Room had totally private terrace, spa has a lovely set up with a shaved ice machine to cool down between treatments and the food is very special. Breakfast has so many artistically laid out, quality and healthy choices. Allesandro is an informed and delightful presence in the dining room and poolside eating areas. Grounds are impeccably maintained. Art surrounds you. Staff were all very gracious. Restful surroundings -

Thank you to mario, paulu and all the team. Our experince was fantastic thanks to the super friendly staff that went above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable. Our favorite memories are the champagne breakfasts overlooking mount etna, sipping cocktails by the pool, the romantic spa couples treatments and the fabulous food at the restaurant. We will come again!

We stayed at Villa Neri for our babymoon. The hotel is fantastic - huge comfy beds, nice spa, and (for the one day of sunshine!) a great outdoor pool area. The staff are all extremely helpful.

Peaceful, stylish oasis near vineyards and away from the crowds of Taormina and Syracuse, which are easy day trips from here. Gourmet restaurant and relaxing pool/spa.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for two nights following our beach vacation in Taormina. It is a perfect place to unwind if you want to break up the drive back to Catania airport. I have to admit I was very curious as to how a hotel in such a remote location can possibly justify a 5* rating. The answer has to be the gorgeous, beautifully decorated, and massive rooms (our balcony had a direct view onto Mount Etna), the spa (which is free), and the excellent breakfast. Outside, the salt water pool is an added plus. The service was okay – typical Sicilian standoffish–ness. The hotel also seems to be very popular with British tourists. Do not go to this hotel if you are not prepared to relax and read a book all day. There is absolutely no entertainment, minus the Michelin-star restaurant which we never visited. TIP: Double-check your hotel bill during check-out. Some joker decided to add an expensive dinner and bottle of wine to my tab.
