The hotel personnel were very professional and amiable. Also in the restaurant Christian took care of us from day one.

Wish the bar was free.

Excellent location, clean and modern room. Absolutely all you need for a few nights in the centre of the city, would definitely stay here again. Roof top bar on the Lamee certainly worth visiting too.

Nice hotel, great location!

We booked a top-floor "Signature Suite" in the Lamee building, which is one of 3, and it was a beautiful corner suite with views to two sides and a large patio. The room was beautiful and large. The staff was excellent from start to finish. We searched several hotels in the area and found this location to be perfect and the views, especially from its rooftop bar, are excellent.

The location, the staff and the breakfast options were all excellent. Reception staff were particularly helpful. We did have to ask for fresh towels and a room clean.

The hotel was nice, staff very helpful. Area was very well situated to everything you would want to do in Vienna. Would recommend as a stat.

Stayed three nights on the seventh floor. Had a great balcony and washroom. Really enjoyed the location as it was walkable to the museums, Spanish riding school, the imperial gardens and palace as well as the most important churches.

The establishment was definitely not what I expected at the price I paid for a few days. I reserved the signature suite but it seemed like a regular room. There really wasn’t anything special about it compared to other hotels. On one day we asked for the room to be cleaned. The only thing that was done was the bed was made. The towels weren’t changed and we weren’t given extra toiletries. A few of the curtains were hanging off of the rail from being pulled too hard from previous guests but was never fixed. I was quite disappointed as I could’ve gotten better accommodations somewhere else.

Nice hotel

Misleading photos and poor service. Unfortunately, our entire experience at Hotel Topazz was a disappointment, from the moment we arrived until the early morning checkout. I’ll start by saying that I have Platinum status, and it’s usually nice to receive some recognition or benefits — but not here. We arrived at 2:00 PM, and the manager at reception was unfriendly and completely unhelpful. Without even checking the system, he informed me that rooms would only be available after 3:00 PM and that no upgrades were possible because the hotel was fully booked. Ironically, I checked online right away- plenty of rooms were still available. So he was simply not telling the truth. I asked to speak with a supervisor, and he refused. One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was the beautiful rooftop terrace shown in the photos- I imagined relaxing there while enjoying Vienna. But here’s the shocker: there is no rooftop terrace at all. The terrace you see in the pictures on Expedia and other sites is actually located in a different building across the street, which no longer belongs to the hotel. It’s now a bar with a completely different interior and concept. I couldn’t believe the level of misrepresentation. The room itself was small, worn, and outdated. Yes, the round windows are unique, but that’s about it. I truly don’t understand the high ratings this hotel gets- to me, it felt like a scam and a huge letdown. We checked at 5:00 AM and- there was no one at the reception.

Wow location , very friendly & helpfull staff , great room size as toppaz pristege category. Testy breakfast with menu opptions very nice idea 24 hours of free of chage coffee or hot drink in the main resturant

My second stay at this property and certainly not my last. The hotel staff is friendly, helpful and prompt to respond to requests. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. The hotel is situated concurrently near dining and public transport. I highly recommend staying at Hotel Topazz.
