Great if you want to detach completely

Beautiful place, with 2 beach accesses. Calm and nice aesthetics. Unfortunately it seems that they recruit only trainees and all people were polite, lacks of professionalism. Seems that a ship without captain. Breakfast also basic. Moreover, the cleaning every 2 days was not expected at this level of hotel that they present online!

The most amazing paradise. We stayed early August the hotel was full and still very quiet as so spaced out. We did Bed and breakfast - you could pay 30 euros for buffet style dinner which was amazing ( children 12 euros) the staff are truely magic and cannot do enough to help. There are no near by restaurants to just walk to from the hotel but they do have a free shuttle service which takes you to the local town at various times of the day. This may not be on the website but they have daily pilates, yoga, paddle boards, kayaks, tennis courts, a restaurant by the pool where the food is fantastic. We did a two centre holiday with the second part in skiathos which is better if you like some shopping! You can book all of this yourself online - no need to use a holiday company, we used seajets for the island transfer, and if you contact the hotel they will pick you up, very recommended

Beautiful property with stunning views, pool is gorgeous with lovely comfy bed chairs. Very friendly and attentive staff, great food choices. Bedroom was nice, my only niggle was bathroom felt a bit tight … next time I’ll choose a bigger room!

Great hotel with access to 2 small beaches, 1 large pool, 1 kids pool, great views and spacious rooms. The staff is super friendly and the hotel quiet large. They could have done more with the space around the hotel.

Location amazing but inconvenient to get to the main lobby . You had to climb up and down in steep hills . Phone wasn’t working in the room at all

Great place with two private beaches with Beothuk colored sea and magnificent views. Nice staff helpful and friendly. The room was very small, there was no space for suitcases.

Everything was amazing. Clean and comfortabke room with excellent mattress. Excellent breakfast every day with very friendly staff. Two beaches in the resort and great restaurant achinos. Only compaint during our whole stay was the WiFi (internet speed).

Great hotel in a peaceful location, with its own beach and pool. Very quiet location, with nearest town a 10 minute taxi ride away. Good restaurant and bar options at the hotel. All facilities kept spotlessly clean. Very friendly and helpful staff

Lovely peaceful location on beautiful Alonissos, with great service from the hotel staff. Hotel is spotlessly clean, with good food and drink facilities. It is a peaceful location, and other bars and restaurants are a 10-minute drive away but there is a good taxi service.

Very attractive property in a very beautiful environment. The views of the sea and the pine forests in the area are incredible! The resort is a complete village but only minutes away by car from a port with great tavernas and other amenities. The rooms are spacious and very clean and many have stunning views. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Modern resort hotel with nice breakfast and tiny rooms. Poolside seating impossible even at 8am, no lifeguard and 40 euros to sit in a kazibo not sure I will come back

We stayed for 7 nights. The location of Marpunta is really beautiful and the two private beaches that belong to the hotel are great. We didn't care for being at the pool, but the pool area is beautifully done. We had booked a room with a sea view and were first placed in a room that looked into another building. You could see the sea when you went on the terrasse and looked down the street. When we complained to the hotel and to hotels.com, we were upgraded to a really lovely deluxe room with a beautiful terrasse and view of the sea. The architecture (it is newly renovated) is very well done, but it seems like the management has not figured out how to give the resort soulfullness and personality yet. The lobby area by the beach is designed to have a bar, but they leave it even with the lights off and no staff in the bar. There are so many great ways that they could utilise it better, but the hotel feels understaffed and the staff seems overworked. The food at the hotel is not nearly as good as what you can get at restaurants on the island. I wish they would make it less generic like a resort and give it more personality in the choices of what they offer. The hotel is a bit away from anything and you need a car, if you want to get around easily. There are only four taxis on the island, and it is very complicated to get one, if you need to get back in the evening after dinner. All that said we really enjoyed our week at Marpunta and felt that we got a lot of value for our money

Best resort in Alonissos. Beautiful pool and access to 2 private beaches. Very helpful staff. This was the highlight of our trip to Greece.

All you want from a Greek island experience. Apartment are clean with fabulous showers. Helpful shuttle driver. Good coffee. Beautiful scenery, beaches and hiking.

Great beach and pool in a beautiful setting. Town isn’t really walkable but taxis easy to come by as are rentals. Hotel was very quiet, with most of the furnishings new. Got a superior sea view room and had a great view, garden rooms outdoor area may not be private enough for some. Staff were generally very friendly and helpful.

We loved this hotel! Calmness and friendly staff
