Excellent quiet location set away from the city with vineyard views. Outstanding restaurant and character bar - wonderful prices after the bigger cities. Hotel and rooms a little quirky in a good way - only downside is lack of air conditioning when 25C (80F) at night. Easy walk or cycle into town. Secure location to leave cars while exploring city. Great staff - even without English menu and limited English with waiter he ascertained what we wanted, liked and delivered accordingly. Watch for Mosquitos although hotel pays attention to this.

Beautiful semi-rural location within the city walls. Short walk (15 mins) to city centre. Smart, clean, comfortable, ultra-modern rooms. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Good restaurant within lovely outside dining spot. One of the nicest places we've ever stayed.

Found Principessa Pio on an Internet search of places in Ferrara. The photos looked great, but they frequently do, while the places often fail to live up to them. Not so in this case. The Pio has just a few rooms along with a restaurant in a recently renovated barn. The fit and finish are of a very high order with a minimal aesthetic throughout. Our room was spacious and relatively inexpensive. The restaurant is quite good and reasonable, and draws a number of people each evening. It is about a 20 minute bike ride from the station, in the northeast corner of Ferrara on a property where various fruits and vegetables are grown, the very ones you will have for breakfast or dinner. We were looking for a quiet, low intensity visit, and it was perfect for that. Bikes were also provided to get around town or to circumnavigate Ferrara's wall/parks. Grazie, Federico!

Wir waren zwei Nächte im Principessa Pio. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, das Personal ist sehr hilfbereit und hat gute Tipps. Das B&B liegt fussläufig vom Zentrum entfernt in einem grossen Park. Daher ist es Nachts sehr ruhig. Wir hatten die schlichten Zimmer und das grosse Bad sehr gerne. Vielleicht fehlt ein Stuhl doch ein wenig... Die Betten könnten ein wenig bequemer sein, aber für 2 Nächte war es kein Problem. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Wir würden wieder kommen.

Ottima struttura: camere estremamente minimal, ma pulite e confortevoli, letto comodissimo e bagno con una doccia grandissima. Il ristorante propone un’ottima scelta di piatti della tradizione locale con l’aggiunta del tocco personale dello chef. Soggiorno breve ma estremamente piacevole, senza dubbio torneremo alla prima occasione

This converted country farmhouse is located in a vast park area, between two cemeteries and the Ferrara wall. You feel like you are on a country estate, but the city is in walking distance.

Très bon sejour à Ferrara . Possibilité de louer facilement des velos sur place pour aller au centre ville . Restaurant très agreable le soir encore mieux surement en été . Pas trop loin non plus pour aller découvrir le parc naturel du Delta du Pô .

On est sur une propriété agricole historique dans les remparts. Le fenil a été reconfigure par un architecte et c'est un concept très intéressant bien qu' un peu spartiate et minimaliste! En revanche le petit déjeuner est délicieux et le parking gratuit font que c'est un excellent rapport qualité prix

Hotel liegt sehr ruhig am Stadtrand, innerhalb der Stadtmauer. Das Zentrum von Ferrara ist gut per Fuß zu erreichen. Das Hotel liegt in einer großen landwirtschaftlich genutzten Fläche. Parken ist sehr gut und sicher möglich. Das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen. Trotz der wenigen Zimmer war das Restaurant voll besetzt, da viele Gäste von außerhalb kamen. Leider ist die Karte nur in Italienisch. Der nette, deutschsprechende Kellner beim Frühstück erläuterte uns dann die Speisekarte, so dass am 2. Abend das Speisenangebot besser verständlich war. Insgesamt ist dasPrincipessa Pio sehr zu empfehlen.!

Wunderschönes, modernes Gebäude für Agrotourismus. Besitzer ist Architekt und hat mit viel Geschmack und Sinn fürs Detail einen bestehenden Gutsbetrieb renoviert und umgebaut. Frühstück sehr gut und abwechslungsreich, besser als in vielen 4* Hotels. Umgebung äusserst angenehm, ruhig und erholsam. 10 bis 15 Gehminuten zum Palast der Diamanten und dem sehenswerten Dom. Absolut zu empfehlen!
