Pleasantly surprised at this quaint hotel. Perfect customer service experience. Very clean. Quiet. Easy to access from boat taxi. Would definitely recommend and would stay again in the future.

Property itself is fine! Nicely decorated room and halls with vintage furniture; closed in outdoor space to sit and rest. However, I wasn't impressed by the communication by the property and it was rather hard to find the hotel. Every other place we stayed in contacted us prior to our arrival and sent detailed info to find the place; not this one! No answer to phone calls. Contactless check in/no lobby, if it's your thing. You need to read a 15 page booklet (not kidding), to figure everything about property and some forms which I didnt even bother to fill in. Upon our arrival, we found our key taped to the main entrance in an envelope with my name on it (where anyone could have grabbed it) because we arrived after hours (after 4pm or something ridiculous). Also not sure about the security within the property as there was a note in the booklet about not to leave windows AND shutters unlocked. Lastly, breakfast is included but according to the map in the booklet; a 10 minute complicated walk to the breakfast place which didnt sound good in the first place. We didnt feel like treasure hunting and just skipped it. It was a joke honestly! Bottom line is, nice property and grounds with rather romantic but small room with ZERO customer service

A great place at a reasonable rate in a great part of Venice! Easy to get to by public transportation without having to carry bags on long treks.

So technically we stayed at the Call d'arte Suites as a free upgrade gave us their apartment, which was a real treat and very kind. The apartment is full of beautiful furnishings in the bedrooms and bathroom in particular. The kitchen is somewhat plainer but as we weren't eating in it didn't matter. Air conditioning was good and very much needed as bedrooms understandably warm. Only criticisms is some Mosquitos which are probably common to all Venetian hotels and lots of stairs to reach the room. Totally worth it and totally understandable but just a bit of a shock! Overall we were very spoiled to be in a location with so many pieces of authentic furniture and in a great location.

Stay was amazing. There was a problem and that was that none from hotel was available after 18.00 which means it is only B&B and not a full fledged hotel. Staff, breakfast, location and cleanliness were simply superb.

The prperty is in a very quiet area, but just a 10 minute walk to the tourist hot spots of San Marco square and Rialto.

I liked everything, staff was always kind and helpful. The place was clean, breakfast really good and no other guest was loud or disturbing.
