First the good stuff: The location was very accessible. Our apartment had parking right under the room.
The apartment was spacious and clean.
The service was very responsive and friendly. (we communicated between broken Italian).
We thought the hotel is on the beach and found out you have to cross through a camping ground which is restricted to campers. The lady at the gate was very kind to allow us to cross and we found a lovely setting with a bar with really great drinks, ice cream etc.
Our room had individual air conditioners - during the nigh one of them started to make excessive noise which woke us up - it was 3am :(.
Breakfast was included but the kitchen was closed off (due to COVID?) and we had to stand in line to point to what we wanted. The quality was mediocre - no veggies, only hard boiled eggs, a variety of stale cereal, jams, and a lot of sweets. We called in advance to make sure our daughter who has Celiac could get an omlette - they said no problem - but declined to provide this when we came to eat. She was offered hard gluten free cracker or biscuits or crackers.
