Good position for station as required. Otherwise would have stayed elsewhere with bigger ensuite which was a tad challenged for space

A fine, old-fashioned English guest house. Be aware that it is NOT a bed and breakfast establishment any longer.

All good except for the show has really low pressure. The electric heated shower device looks out-dated. It makes the shower very very long.

Very friendly check in. Informative and pleasant. Room smelt damp, odorus actually. Wallpaper looking like it's about to fall off. However, it wasn't the bedding, the bathroom or the fridge. It wasn't unbearable and knowing it was just a night I didn't say anything. Window wouldn't open, which might be the reason for the damp, but in the end it was not an issue because the room was quite cool despite it being over 25°C during the day. Again, I didn't ask, but it could have been unlocked (or needs repair). Best night sleep I'd had that week, however. Shower was an older unit but whoever used it before has set it to maximum (you can't use it like that, that's how those things cycle, it's a safeguard!) Didn't have breakfast. About 20-30 minutes walk to the centre each way, but there are buses nearby and the train is very convenient. Parking looked more than enough for the number of rooms. Two supermarkets within 5 minute walk, a pub within 10. My overall impression is that (between my experience and the reviews) the owners / staff are trying. However, it looks they're in a period of 'upgrade'. I would think about trying this place again in a few years (reviews pending) but not within the near future.

Nothing fancy but perfectly comfortable for the price. If you want somewhere basic to rest your head, this will meet your needs.

Perfect for what our family of 4 needed (Two adults, 3 year old & 4 month old). Very friendly welcome, our room was the perfect size, beds were comfy and the fridge in the room meant we could pre make formula bottles instead of making them in the middle of the night. Only a 4 minute drive from where we wanted to be in the centre of Truro. Highly recommend and would stay again if we ever needed to be back in the area.

Very friendly staff. Great value for money. Traffic noisy due to location but this is not a criticism, but earplugs may be useful if you are not used to city living and rush hr noise in the morning. Property is old, creaky and charming with good facilities.

It was such a lovely little place to find in Truro and was greeted by a very kind lady who walked me to my room, asked me how my journey was and explained everything I needed. It was as simple as needing to remember to take a set of keys with me when I left. The bedroom was immaculate with fresh linen, two bedside tables with lamps, chairs with a little table and a decent tv! The bed was so comfortable to sleep on and I slept better than I thought! There was little chocolates and fresh towels whenever I came back after a long day. The only few downsides were that the shower spray strength was a bit weak and the hotel is at the top of the hill but for my first time in Cornwall, it was absolutely brilliant to see the town (including the amazing cathedral) from my bedroom window!
