Beautiful hotel, great staff, awesome restaurant.

Wonderful old tower converted to a hotel and restaurant. The last few hundred feet are an adventure climbing up the narrowest of roads. Wonderful staff, good food spectacular location!

This town, Onati was one of the highlights of our trip. If you like to stay in places where the tourists aren't, then this is the place for you. The Basque people are so friendly. We were fortunate to be there when the Basque Festival was and everyone was in traditional clothing. The reception people were great too and very helpful.

Interesting old building close to historic town centre. Easy parking, a warm welcome, good accommodation, good food, reasonable price. Have stayed here 3 times and would stay again.

This was our favorite hotel in all of Spain! When we arrived we got a free upgrade to a much larger room. The room had an extremely comfortable bed and a fantastic view of Oñati. The property and the surrounding area are gorgeous so I'm sure all of the views are wonderful! The service here was fantastic. The concierge helped us arrange a tour for the Arrikrutz caves after we were unable to make a reservation online. We also ate in the restaurant on site and it was delicious! There are a couple tourist activities nearby but this is a beautiful place to just relax and read a book. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the Basque country, it is definitely worth the short drive from Bilbao!

This hotel is about 4 years old and 600 years, depending on how you count! This beautifully restored hotel has a bright dining room with windows that look over Onati and the surrounding hills and excellent food for dinner at reasonable prices. This is a real treasure. Best hotel I have stayed in for years. Don't let the drive up the hill scare you! Inigo at the desk was particularly helpful and took excellent care of us at dinner as well.

Great Hotel in a great location. We returned to this hotel for a second time. The second time that we stayed, the service let the stay down. There was also a very large group of youngsters which were extremely loud at Dinner. You could not hear yourself speak. The waitress was only interested in the group and therefore our romantic dinner came to an abrupt halt where we left the dinning room. We were not asked at any point whether our food was okay. Breakfast: Service was again terrible.

This was a very enjoyable stay in this small hotel, which is a converted old tower with great views of the town. The hotel restaurant was excellent, offering very good food at extremely reasonable prices. I would advise all visitors to plan their route to the hotel carefully as it is somewhat hard to find and not well signposted.

A lovely welcome to Onati. The views are spectacular and the staff were wonderful. Very kind and eager to accommodate. The room was lovely, only window a "porthole" in the tower wall, very romantic. Nice bedding and amenities. Restaurant was delicious with interesting Basque cuisine. One of our favorite stops on our drive thru the Pyrenees.

One of the best 3 star hotels I have been so far, I'd even say 4 and a half stars; Very clean, the staff was very helpful and considerate moreover they wanted to see if I was ok when because I arrived very late; What can I say I can recommend it with all my pleasure; Very suitable for couples on a 2 night get-away , anything more than that might ruin the charm :D

The cleaning staff have a very high standard. The 4 course meal was excellent, especially the fish and salads, and all was served without a long wait. On a nice sunny day there is nothing better than to sit in the hotel garden looking out across the mountains, the view and sense of peace is tremendous.

Un excellent accueil, une équipe à l'écoute, une chambre très agréable et climatisé, une hôtel avec un restaurant proposant des plats et menus à des prix plus qu'abordables, vraiment bravo à toute l'équipe.
