My husband and I have stayed at this hotel twice, the staff is friendly, the room is clean, the location is strategic, close to Petaling Street, about 7 minutes walk, from Alor it is also close, about 5 minutes walk, behind there is a very cheap & delicious Indian restaurant, a must try if you stay at this 99 hotel. If you take the bus, get off at Pudu, the 99 hotel is across from the bus terminal, just cross the road. Suitable for Indonesians who want a low budget vacation, you can get a comfortable room, a strategic location.

Recommended, very close to Pudu Sentral to take the bus if you want to go to Genting Highland

The hotel is very strategic. It's close to food, just a short walk to the bus station. It's very conveniently located. It's also close to the mall.

The Malay receptionist was very friendly; I forgot her name. Towels were changed daily. I had a deluxe room with a rear view. The view was fine, but there was a loud engine noise at night.

A comfortable and pleasant hotel to stay in

I stayed at Hotel 99 for 3 days, but they only provided drinking water on the first day. I asked the receptionist, but they told me to ask the cleaning service myself. The hotel staff were friendly, but the first receptionist to meet us was the first. The rest of the staff were unfriendly. The TV in our room was broken. They told us about it, and then it was repaired, but it only worked for 2 hours after that. And this hotel is not soundproof. The sound of the toilet flushing, people talking in the hallway, and even people getting angry in the room can be clearly heard...

We had a delay on the Firefly from PSWT at 10 pm, and it was delayed until 5:50 am the next day. Luckily the hotel was kind enough to let us wait until 1 am and then sleep on the sofa.

Cleanliness needs to be given more attention. The hotel area looks poorly maintained. As soon as you enter the room, you can smell urine coming from the bathroom. The AC in the room also smells musty, and the room is very small for a triple room. The only advantages are its strategic location and friendly receptionist.

Actually it’s quite good, I booked here for two nights but I expected to get better facilities. The wifi doesn’t work well in my room, it keeps saying “unable to join the network.” When it does connect, the connection drops after a few minutes. I booked a room with window, but it’s literally next to the street so I could hear pedestrians walking by and talking. It felt unsettling, as I felt like someone was nearby while I was sleeping. The TV is not a smart TV either. For the price, I think smart TV should be standard since breakfast isn’t included. For the bathroom, the water pressure suddenly dropped while I was showering, which was quite inconvenient. Better to upgrade the facilities and check them regularly. A hotel stay should offer more than just a bed, convenience and comfort are basic expectations.
