However, behind its easy access, this hotel holds a secret that only those who stay there can discover. I decided to stay there because of a religious event at the Istiqlal Mosque. From the outside, the building looks majestic with its colonial architecture. An old building that retains its original charm.

Strategic location close to government offices but unfortunately the hotel is old and looks like there is no room maintenance, no lift, the AC is not cold, even one of our rooms the AC freon leaked and water pooled on the floor, musty and cigarette smell even though it is non-smoking, dim yellow lights even though the staff said they would replace them but until check out there were none, lots of ants, there are wide gaps between the window frame and the wall and even the window cannot be closed tightly, stayed 2 nights but the room was never cleaned until the trash was piled up

An environmentally friendly hotel, affordable, clean, comfortable, friendly staff, the security is very helpful because the booking time coincided with the takbir night so it was quite crowded and the time I went there coincided with Eid al-Adha so I could pray Eid at the Istiqlal mosque, just crossing the road it's not difficult to find parking, breakfast is not very varied but good not bad, there are lontong, juice, fruit that is enough for that price, the location is very strategic in the city center
