Hotel was ok but food was very overpriced and bland. Pretty much no vegetables on the menu and want even asked how I wanted my steak cooked. Will not return.

We had a lovely bedroom in this great pub. Good breakfast included in room price.

Just a place to take a good weekend break from everything. It was our 2nd time. Only complaint was that it was too warm to sleep at night. They didn't have any electric fans for us. We will be back in winter next time.

Lovely property and good food. Can’t say much about breakfast because they don’t serve it until 08:30 which was too late for work. Great for holidays but less good for work stay

Staff excellent. Food wonderful. Noise in room while premises open very loud. Alarm going off at midnight was not great.

Lovely surroundings and location

Really friendly staff, excellent customer service. We could see Pendle Hill from our room. Super comfy bed. Great place to stay

We had a lovely stay at the Barley Mow. The room was lovely and comfortable with a bath. It's a fabulous location for walking on pendle hill. The food was great too although the menu is very meat heavy.

Like the hotel. But the dinner option booking is trickery. You pay a higher rate and you only get £30 credit per couple. Nothing on the menu is available at this price. They need to remove this option at the booking and be honest on the menu

Exceptional

Hotel is cosy and warm on entering. Log burners burning. Our evening meal was average in my opinion. My steak baguette had onions that were Luke warm, as were the beans at breakfast. Breakfast took an age to arrive. Our room was nice except for paint peeling from a chimney breast I think. Overall it suited our needs for 1 night. Set in breathtaking scenery.

We were looked after very well during our stay and enjoyed being in this lovely area. We will definitely be returning.
