The staff , Heidi and Saverin, were outstanding. My reservation has not come through, and they worked tirelessly to make sure that it was retrieved and that I had a room on time My entire experience was excellent

Great staff, great Breakfast!

Good hotel with everything you need on site. The breakfast / sauna and one of the restaurants is weirdly in another part of the hotel which require a walk and another elevator / stairs -but the rooms are spacious and staff at reception very helpful. No room service though, so beware of getting back late due to your work!

I loved the fact that they had real Karelian pies and egg butter in the breakfast, some of best ones I've found in hotels anywhere. Other than that it's what these chain business hotels are. Rooms are okay, fairly recently renovated, they're clean, service was ok, check-in and check out quick and the breakfast was a standard average hotel breakfast. Nothing spectacular, but does the job and overall what I expected to get. Few more minor issues: 1) In the room the pillows were rather uncomfortable (which is of course matter of taste), but on the other hand they often seem to be, I'm suspecting it relates to the fact these types are cheaper. 2) The fact that room thermostat had a very bright green led right across the bed was somewhat annoying as well and made sleeping difficult until I covered it with a shirt (I've seen this in else where as well, which makes me wonder if people who design and build these places actually sleep in the rooms by themselves).

Good for those who expect only standard conditions and having a stay for a day or 2.

The good: very central, good saunas and hot tub, breakfast is nice, very quiet and cozy rooms. The bad: had to change rooms because of plumbing issues. Leaky toilet in 1st room, leaky bidet in 2nd. My colleague’s room’s AC was very noisy. Bumpy old pillows. The cleaning person left the trash on my desk twice during the week.

The room was very spacious, but not the most comfortable. It was very cold and it wasn't possible to get it warmer. There are no bath robes and in general the room is quite bare. Similar experience with the breakfast; most of the food was cold and there wasn't much to choose from. It was ok for a 2 night stay, but I would not stay longer.

Clean and centrally located

This is a wonderful location right in the heart of Joensuu. There is a parking garage connected to the hotel and plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel.

Elevators were bit confusing when you need to use which one depending on where you wanted to go

Very friendly hotel in very convenient location

Best location in Joensuu, right in the center of the city but still quiet for good night sleep. Clean modern rooms, comfortable beds and small fridge. Excellent breakfast included (you can even fill your vegetarian plates there). Parking garage was $11 per night. Hotel has few pieces of fitness equipment (for aerobic exercise) in their sauna premises. And best hotel sauna I have experienced so far. If you want more strength oriented work out the is fantastic gym next door, ask $5 badge key from hotel lobby. Or go run along the river and enjoy the scenery. Grocery store downstairs in the same building. Did I miss something? For sure I would love to have shampoo while taking shower. But shower gel works fine for couple of days. And vegans and mainstream eaters alike have multiple eateries close by, including great Nepalese restaurant within less than five minutes walk.

One word review: Awesome! One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Great location, spacious room, comfy beds, armchair, free access to the sauna, jacuzzi and gym. VERY generous, delicious and nutritious breakfast. Literally next door to at least 3 quality restaurants, 2 shopping malls and 1 minute walk from the town square. Friendly, helfpul and knowledgeable staff. Very slight gripe, no kettle in room. But there was a fridge, well-stocked minibar, an ironboard, hairdryer, etc.
