Great staff very attentive and kind

Exceptional hotel, food is exquisite and a really good quiet sleep which is very important.

This hotel had been restored to a high standard, but it’s the staff that make the stay. From reception to the bar staff, everyone is so friendly and can’t do enough to make everything perfect.

Great staff, breakfast & room

Great venue, very quiet in the evening. Room was very clean, bed was comfy and the hand wash smelt amazing! Couldn’t do enough for me and I would defo go back!

Food was very good. Room wad good although the mattress was very hard & uncomfortable, apart from that it was fine.

Good place to stop by ,very comfy bed good breakfast .

The Staff were exceptional, so kind from the Reception, bar staff, kitchen and cleaners. My mother is in a wheelchair and your staff done everything to help us both make our stay so welcoming. Thank you so much. Paula Wardrop Mary Arthur

Exceptional all round. Very pleased with the quality of this hotel

Very good night away. Staff were fantastic. Food and drinks were great. Bedroom and bathroom very modern and spacious. Room was a bit warm for us and bed wasn't the most comfy. But not enough to ruin a good night away. Would return.

Everything was just so straight forward when we got there, staff was lovely, rooms were very clean, beds are comfy. Great place to stay and it’s very quiet also. I will certainly be back to stay here.

The bathroom had a slight smell of stagnant water.

Fantastic staff from the moment you walk into reception, very professional but with great Scottish banter which makes it so much more personal and starts your stay with a smile on your face. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable with the added bonus of a jacuzzi bath with a TV! Food in the restaurant was excellent. Was also access to EV charging on site, which any EV driver will know is a feature lacking in many other hotels. Will be back again whether for business or pleasure just for the banter.

The rooms are lovely , very clean and modern , the showers are excellent and the overall standard of the Hotel very good . There was a distict lack of staff at breakfast where i warched one woman stand waiting for at least 15 mins .waiting for someone to help her .

Exceptional in every aspect

Fantastic hotel. Easy to find and in a lovely little friendly town. Hotel staff incredible nothing was to much trouble for them and they were all incredibly friendly. Would highly recommend. Close to Glasgow city centre without having the business of the city straight outside your window. 20 Minute train journey and your right in the heart of Glasgow city centre. Overall 10/10

Fab stay. Great staff all round. Good food and comfortable rooms.

Really nice hotel with a comfortable bed and absolutely wonderful shower. Very attractive dining area with a good selection of hot and cold options for breakfast. Literally the only complaint I have that the staff were too eager to clear our table when we had literally only been seated 5 minutes previously and were choosing from the cooked breakfast area. Weirdly they cleared away our coffee pots and cups which hasn't even been touched and not the fruit plates we had finished with!!

Lovely place near the river for walks etc. Decent food & beer and clean. Very nice!
