It was a great stay - affordable and much nicer than most places I stay for work. The staff were absolutely lovely and I'd definitely stay here again. Just one suggestion - I was in the cosy double room and it would be really nice to have a small table or even shelf by the bed to put my phone and glasses on.

Perfect location and very clean and friendly hotel

Fast efficient check in. Very friendly service, clean room. The beds were very comfortable. Drinks in the bar were lovely, especially the Estrella.

This hotel suited us perfectly for a short stay before flying from Bristol airport. It was easy to find and easy to get back on the motorway to finish our journey to the airport, iwould recommend and use again when flying from Bristol airport.

I stayed here with my grandaughter, whilst on a trip to see family. The staff were so nice and friendly and the food service was very good. Thank you to the staff who made us feel so welcome. My grandaughter loved the whole stay. The beds were very comfy too and the bedroom we had was very quiet at night. The only thing we would have liked was air con. When i booked it said the room had air con. However, we booked the 'cosy room' and i think we were given a much bigger room, so i didnt like to complain about air con. There was a fan in the room and i had also bought a fan from home, so it was ok, just a bit stuffy. Would def stay again. Thank you

Stayed here for an overnight stop en route to North Devon. Nice & comfortable with really friendly staff, good food & great size room for a family of four.

We booked the hotel as we were attending a wedding nearby. When we arrived we went to the lounge for tea. I was in awe of the two ladies on the reception/bar. They were probably doing the job of 4 people and nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and we had a great couple of nights sleep! If we ever need to stay in the area again I would gladly return.

The hotel is clean and friendly the staff are amazing, great choices of food breakfast lunch or dinner, it will be alot better when they finish having aircon installed, ive just spent the last 10 weeks there so that should say it al.

Arrived to the hotel, checked in, got to my room but it hasn’t been cleaned since the previous guest. Spoke to the check in lady expecting a new room, who said I had to sit and wait for the cleaners. Whilst waiting, I headed to the bar to order a beer thinking perhaps I’ll get a discount for the inconvenience - nope £6.50 for an average pint. 30 mins later my room was now ready although many others has checked in after me. The shower drain was consistently overflowing as it was blocked and there is no cold water in the taps or shower. Usually this wouldn’t bother me, but it’s like a furnace outside at the moment. Overall, a disappointing stay.

All round terrible experience. Booked for 2 adults and child. Arrived at 4pm, room not ready even though checkin was 3pm Room ready at 4:30 Room only had double bed. Went back to reception. had to wait another 30mins until they found a suitable room. Was told that the sofa bed was done up. Arrived at room, which hadn’t been prepared. Had to go back down to reception. At this point we decided to go out for dinner. The room was ready on our return. We asked for a free breakfast which they acknowledged. On arrival for breakfast we were asked to pay after explaining, we had the free breakfast.

Was okay. Room have essentials. But a lot of dusts as well

I booked a quadruple room with two queen size bed one year ago. Upon arrival there was only a double bed. They told me they don’t have quadruple room with queen size beds. Our rooms come with a sofa bed. They agreed to make up the sofa. Strange that their website shows quadruple rooms with two queen size beds. I feel I have been ripped off.

As expected, but some cleanliness issues in bathroom.

Bathroom tiles around shower were filthy. Informed receptionist and they sent someone to clean them but it wasnt a good job. Dinner was awful. Ordered lasagne with salad. Lasagne didnt come with salad but we also didnt get an explanation as to why and had tonquery it to be told they had ran out of salad on a Saturday night. Ordered a mohito cocktail and asked if we were happy for a mohito without the mint. Breakfast was very good and staff were very friendly.

Friendly welcome. Room was spotless and the air con was awesome! Great pressure in the shower and nice smelling products. Reasonable prices in the bar. Comfy bed. Loved it!

The issue with check in was that the printer was down? We, along with another guest had to wait around 20+ minutes not knowing what was happening. The receptionist offered what seemed to be a complimentary drink. We had a beer but then another staff member asked for payment. We paid to avoid an issue. Everything else was really good and dog friendly also, would stay again when visiting family in Bristol.

Had to buy bottled water. The kettle could only be on the window sill. There was no hot chocolate or option for a child. The breakfast was lovely but not quick to replace when buffet options are out. The room was offered as a cosy family option in the search, but it was not a full sized double bed, so was definitely cosy with a 12 year old.

A good size room and good value for money as a last minute stay. But the pillow cases were dirty and the room was extremely noisy being on the front of the hotel, even with the windows closed! Not a great night sleep!
