Very good hotel in a good location.

Lovely, cosy, fully equipped apartment located a short walk into town. Great communication from the owner. Points to note however: There were none of the “Gold member” items given (advertised when booking). No microwave and no extra pillows.

Arriving on a weekend means contactless instructions sent on the day, which isn’t pleasant if you don’t have internet. Kettle was super dirty, it was changed when I sent them an email by accessing the apartment the next day without informing me. Same with adding a blanket because I wasn’t able to control the AC from iPad and was freezing. I sent an email, they cranked up the heating remotely and the apartment was super hot. I sadly didn’t enjoy staying there, and it was an investment. I didn’t get the apartment in the pictures, or the upgrade, or a bottle of wine as promised with VIP access. The communication was dry, not friendly. This was a birthday treat, and I told them. They didn’t seem to care. The size of the apartment is fantastic, The Rituals brand soap and hand cream is a nice touch, the furniture is elegant, but the nearest supermarket is a 15-20 minute walk away. Communication is lacking, that’s for sure.

The Red Apartments was an unexpectedly excellent choice in many ways - ambiance, speed and quality of service, location and layout. It felt like being at home. We will be back for more should we ever choose to visit Dusseldorf again!

The location is a little out of the city, but really quiet. If you are checking in at weekends make sure you call ahead as it has no on site staff. I was lucky as one of the cleaning ladies arrived at the same time as me and she was very helpful. She also came back a few minutes after I got to my room and gave me a bottle of wine. The room is very tidy and clean and overall was excellent value.

Beautiful and stylish apartment suite centrally located near the Rhine and old town Dusseldorf. Attentive staff and well appointed.

Great experience, perfect area just by the old town

Large clean apartment in secure old apartment block. A few minutes walk to the tram, easy ride by public transport to airport, so don't waste money on a taxi! The location excellent, just a few minutes walk to the Rhine, and also only short walk to the Old Town and the Media district. There are supermarkets (open until midnight) within 10-15mins, and several restaurants and coffee shops on the same road as the apartment. The apartment itself is comfortable (including the bed). The bedroom has good storage and hanging space. The bathroom was spotlessly clean with a powerful shower. The kitchen has a large fridge/freezer and a hob/ oven but no microwave. There is a dishwasher and apparently laundry facilities in the basement, but I didn't use these. We would have no hesitation in recommending the Red. The only two minor complaints we have are: 1) there is only one very flat pillow each; a second one would have increased comfort, and 2) bizarrely, there are lots of glasses but no wine glasses. Maybe they expect you to drink beer all the time - we just settled for tumblers of wine ;)

Lovely spacious apartment with everything you need in a great location . Friendly and welcoming staff and it was no trouble to let us stay another night after our flight was cancelled .

Excellent locatiion, spacious and clean room. There are NO hotel amenities here. No restaurant, no reception so it's basically well appointed apartments to rent. You have to call or buzz someone when you arrive. I don't know why it's represented as a hotel.

perfect location for business in town

The place was great, very clean and it feels very spacious with the high ceilings. The bathroom is very well designed and the shower is fantastic. This is not a hotel it's a serviced apartment so it does not have a front desk and you might check in using a lock box with code. No problems whatsoever the check in agent was available by phone easily. There is a tram stop around the corner so transportation is easy. Walking to Altstadt is about 10-15 minutes. All in all a great spot if you don't need full service, concierge, room service bar etc. The wifi service was fast and reliable.

The office was close when we arrive, so we got an mail from the hotel telling us all the instructions to get in. the studio is spacious.

I didn't realize these were managed apartments until I arrived. I had some trouble getting in until I was told to check my phone for a text with an entry code. Once I had got myself into the room it was very spacious and practical for the price.

A little difficult to find, even with (or perhaps because of) satnav. This is a no service hotel and keys need to be picked up on arrival using a entry code and key safe code, which worked perfectly. Clean and very modern. The only problem was that the shower door would not open inwards - it ground on the floor, and the shower leaked into the bathroom, even though the doors were correctly closed. Neverthe less I would return, even though it is a bit remote

Fantastic clean place to stay Highly recommend it

Very friendly and helpful staff. They allowed us to check-in early without any hassle. Very spacious apartment style room, with separate bedroom, hallway, living/dining/kitchen, and bathroom.
