Highly recommend eating at Smoak right across the street from Hotel. Great breakfast

Hotel was generally quiet. Staff was helpful when asked questions.

Very nice. The property is clean and well maintained. Check in was easy and we felt very welcomed, even though it was 11:30pm.

I thought the breakfast was wonderful...but then they even offer evening hearty snacks as well as free beer and wine!! Are room was great, but you can see the upholstered furniture is wearing down. Beds were very comfortable!!

I was very pleased with my experience. The next time I have an opportunity to stay in this hotel again, I will.

I have stayed here more than half dozen times. Each time the service has been good and friendly. No complaints. Walking distance to groceries, Costco, coffee, and restaurants.

We had reserved an accessible room but didn’t get one. I use a walker and our room was the furthest from the elevator. Seeing as we were only staying one night we didn’t bother complaining. The size of the suite was great but the sofa was old and threadbare. I also sunk down in it.

Great property, clean rooms and helpful staff. Evening reception with music and breakfast were exceptional.

I was disappointed that I had to try three rooms before I found one that would be acceptable for my stay. The first room was almost 80° and it seemed the air conditioning was broken. The second had a strange vibration in the floor and bouncing off the windows. It may have been above the laundry area. The third room was just right! I must say though the staff was very patient and kind with me to keep offering different rooms until we found one that was going to work.

The pool and hot tub water were brown. I provided picures. We were told oh we had a large group. It smelled like sewage. They then closed the pool to clean which was our whole stay. Then at 3 am our smoke alarm went off. They had no explanation. Deal with it. When we asked for towels or any help we were litterly told we will see. When i contacred Staybridge they said it wasnt their problem due to being booked thru a 3rd party app. They offered me points on a card i dont even have.

I love the size of the room for a family of 5 that was traveling for a wrestling tournament. I wish the soap and shampoo and conditioner werent reusable for everyone. I feel like that is unsafe. I feel like the bathroom could have been cleaner.

Of the 3 Staybridge Hotels my family and I stayed in over the course of our family vacation, this Rochester location was absolutely the worst overall. We arrived around 9pm after traveling all day. The room itself wasn’t very clean when we got in, with most surfaces feeling gritty and sticky. We didn’t have any extra bedding for the pull out couch, and no one answered the front desk phone when we called down. We made do for the night and then noticed more issues in the morning, namely that the shower was broken, the towels had holes in them, and the remote/alarm clocks were missing the battery covers. I went to the front desk just to let them know and to ensure we wouldn’t be charged for these items, and the man working the front desk was one of the rudest customer service people I’ve ever encountered. He was interrupting to make excuses to the point where I couldn’t even get a word in. “Minnesota Nice” apparently skipped this location. Based on the staff and cleanliness, we would never return to this location.

Service was friendly and I enjoyed the social aspect of the evening.

The building itself looked nice but the room we stayed in 333, 1 bedroom suite, needed a lot of work. There was blue plaster on the wall behind the bedroom chair from a hole that was made at some point, the carpet wasn’t all the way to the wall by the tv stand in the bedroom, the door frame inside the bathroom needed repair.
