The property is a little tired compared to the images and in need of some general maintenance in both rooms and common areas. Lots of nice quirky features but missing the special feeling we hoped for at this price point.

Rooms and hotel had lots of degradation due to lack of maintenance. Paint and plaster peeling off the walls, mold and mildew in the showers, thread bare and dirty furniture in the room.

Beautiful location at the top of the town. Walking distance to the main street with cool shops and nice eateries. Such a cool hotel with an interesting history. Perfect for one night stay or longer!

Free parking lot across the street, 5 minute walk from like 20 restaurants. Large and luxurious rooms!

The hotel is a good combination of old and new. Nice room with comfortable furniture and own balcony overlooking the garden. The nights are cold in February but the room had hot air ventilation which heated the room sufficiently. Breakfast has many choices and was served in groundfloor room with many historic elements. You have to drive through narrow one-way streets in Alta to get to the hotel which is on outskirt of the city, so a smaller car is an advantage!

Lovely large room - opulent...except when it came to the sheets and towels. Not a comfy night sleep after all...

Quiet and peaceful place, far away from the tourist area. The food was really good as well, starting with the breakfast. We have a welcome gift when we arrived. Totally recommended for a break! Beach is 15 minutes away by car and a cab can cost around 30 euros. A little expensive, but worthy. On Thursday the Hotel had a jazz night and it was great!

We loved our stay in the hotel - the service was exemplary throughout the stay. The hotel is an old palace, renovated for the modern age. Being small - eight rooms or so: the staff know you are and are very friendly. Our room was huge - one of the biggest I've ever stayed in with a four posted bed, satellite tv, separate shower and bed. Breakfast was a continental buffet but we were always asked if we wanted eggs freshly cooked, which was a nice touch. We eat in the restaurant on our last night - the food was really tasty, gourmet style. There's a public car park near the hotel that is free and is a couple of minutes alk away. Arta itself is a pretty, small village. The hotel is ideally located for visting the Caves de Arta and the Sanctuary, which offers great views.

The hotel has just 8 rooms this is part of the charm. Ours was large with a terrace and quite comfortable. We had breakfast every day and enjoyed this relaxed time. Then we usually left for a near by beach and came before night. We stayed 8 days and would have wanted to extend a little longer. Overall we like this hotel very much. (Family of 4 2 adults 2 kids)

Gemütliches Hotel...Wir haben uns mit unseren beiden Kindern total wohl gefühlt, sehr sauber und schöne Gegend. Da das Hotel nicht viele Zimmer hat, war es auch zu jeder Zeit sehr ruhig und man konnte Abends auch noch alleine am Pool entspannen. Das Frühstücksbuffett war in Ordnung (Rührei und Spiegelei sowie Kaffe, Cappucino wurden frisch zubereitet) Jedoch hätten wir uns hier ein wenig Abwechslung gewünscht.

La habitación era espectacular y la cena en el restaurante excelente Debería haber una alternativa a los edredones. Pasamos calor por la noche

Freundlicher und persönlicher Service, sehr gute Lage im Ort, tolle historische Architektur des Gebäudes. Die Ausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, dafür ist aber alles sehr sauber.

Ausgesprochen nette Atmosphäre, tolle Lage, liebevoll eingerichtet, einfach nur zum Wohlfühlen
