Sometimes the door didn't lock automatically when leaving the room so anyone could enter. It worked ok for first 2 days then it became hit and miss on 3rd day.

Nice small hotel in Manly, great food, easy no-fuss free parking. Appears that the cleaning staff walked out of my room mid-clean and left cleaning chemicals in my bathroom instead of soap, etc., but was at least good to see it was being sanitised.

I was in Room 1, room was nice. Bathroom had some minor issues. No cold water out of shower tap but the temperature of the hot remained constant at a likeable level. Weird smell from either toilet or drain that needs attention.

Felt safe and secure. Good food Some male staff look unkempt in appearance.

We had no hot water in the shower. Complained about it and asked for refund or compensation. Told they would get back to me. Nothing.

Small rooms but renovated beautifully

Was concerned the noise from pubgoers would be an issue but did not hear anything at all! Clean room, friendly staff. Will be back for sure!

The room

We decided to stay here as family live nearby and its a bit cramped! It was a good stay on the whole especially because of its location. We stayed in the slightly more expensive side of the hotel away from the bars below and the street. Good decision. However, there was only one problem. We were at the other end of the hotel and getting hot water was almost impossible. First day warm water eventually arrived after running the shower for what seemed 10 minutes, in fact the time it took to fill the jug and have a cup of tea. Second day it was worse - we gave up altogether. This is a major problem that had to be looked at. Other than that, pleasant.

Property was clean and neat. Couldn’t hear any music noise. What I did hear was what sounded like a water pump sounding off in the ceiling. It kept me up all night.
