Cosy motel suits to be out of Wellington but drivable to the ferry

Went well.

I find this motel a perfect distance from the interislander ferry - a 50 min drive. It’s operated by the owners and it is a generational family business. A a former motelier I thoroughly recommend it.

I really enjoy stauong here this is my 6th time booking and i will be back for a week in October

Excellent contact and responsiveness from staff, easy parking and easy check in, very comfy beds, heat pump was on for our arrival on a winter evening whuch was appreciated. Lovely new bathroom with nice shower.

Excellent communications from the proprietors, after delays with the interislander ferries. Very obliging and hassle free. Clean, tidy and quiet rooms. Great stop off away from Wellington, on way to Auckland.

Good parking and quite

This is a great overnight stop off when travelling with dogs. It is a little traffic noisey but then you are not far off the main route for the next day! It is very clean and good walking space for dogs. Town has a few food options and great fish and chips. Meet and greet efficient and we had lovely fresh linen and strong shower!

I really appreciated the communication and ease of instructions for after hour access. Beautifully kept and very clean and tidy. Friendly and helpful service and would definitely stay here again :)

I like to stay here when I’m doing business in Wellington. It has parties gardens and is so much more peaceful than the city

Walked into kitchen and thought ‘tired 1970”s’. Room better except for woodwork. Bathroom excellent and modern.

Older motel, but clean, well maintained and convenient.
