The building and rooms and modern upgrades for a 14th century building and the condition was very good and clean inside for a building that old. Owners take very good care of it and a very good with service and the employees are very friendly.

Fabulous property- staff were amazing and helpful with suggestions of local restaurants, points of interest. Helpful with arranging transportation to local winery. Unique rooms in renovated castle. Charming and comfortable. Would highly recommend and would stay there again. Breakfasts were wonderful selection of sweet and savory continental breakfast

Super well redeveloped historical building into a gorgeous boutique hotel. Staff were extremely helpful, always smiling and always offering help. Claudio even curated a travel map for us. Everything from clean rooms to comfy beds to high end bath robes to excellent breakfast were exceptional. Have already made arrangements to return next year. A real jewel of Siena.

A dramatic and interesting building, converted into an hotel about 8 years ago. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good.

This hotel is located in a great part of the city and is very walkable to multiple sites to see and experience. Parking off site was a short walk and easy to figure out. The staff has also been so very friendly and helpful which makes the experience that much more enjoyable. We also enjoyed the fresh breakfast in the mornings to start our day.

It is a beautiful, very old medieval building centered around the old staircase. The rooms are large. The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Breakfast was good with good espresso.

As seniors of their 60s and 70s visiting Italy for the 1st time, we chose Hotel Palazzetto Rosso per Rick Steves tour book recommendation. Although the facility was simple and practical, it was clean, staff were warm, breakfast was ample, like come home. Great service. Thank you!

A fantastic stay with incredibly friendly staff. An excellent location and the breakfast was superb each morning. Parking was really easy. It's away from the hotel but with the card you can come and go from the parking lot as you wish.

The hotel is in a great location easily walkable to the Duomo and museums as well as a bus stop (Stuffa Secca) that takes you to / from the Siena train station (although be warned, it's a short but steep climb up the hill from the stop to the hotel). The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is generous and varied. The lobby is beautifully decorated. My room was spacious. When I come back to Siena, I'll try to stay here,

Absolutely lovely and unique hotel with helpful friendly staff. Only downfall was the bathroom-great water pressure but no counter space at all! Bring a hanging toilette kit. If driving, pay close attention to the parking instructions provided by the hotel and know you’ll have to go up 5 escalators and walk around 8 mins with your suitcases.
