Absolutely amazing little hotel near a beautiful park in Santiago. Restaurant upstairs has a piano player, who also play the saxophone. Downstairs has a bar, where people sing to another piano player. It was almost like karaoke with a live piano player. Everyone there was super helpful and very kind. Good sized rooms with very unique style. There are 2 suits of armor and a lot of very interesting things inside. Great location for food and i felt very safe staying there. Definitely recommend!!!!

This boutique hotel is in a lovely part of town, directly across from a wonderful park that is worth visiting, just down the street from small grocery stores if you need anything. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, watching out for our safety when we were going out. The upstairs bar is super lovely, it is also a restaurant. The bartenders were very accommodating, make sure you have a Pisco Sour! We were very cautious because there was not a safe in the room. However, on the day we really needed it. I was very impressed. The front desk staff went to get a key which opened a drawer to another key, he gave me a key with a number on it and then he took. He had another key and took me to a riom down the hall where he used one key to open up the door in the wall, revealing a bank, looking safe. He used another key to open up the large safe, and then there were small individual safes with numbers on them. Inside each little safe, there was a metal box. He left the room and allowed me to have privacy to put my things in the little box and place it back in my Number, safe and secure it with my own key, which I kept until I went to retrieve my items when I left. Very secure!

Really lovely hotel. Yes it's old and has a few old features but it's clean, the bed we had was so comfortable, the staff were really helpful and spoke English. We've booked to go back at the end of our tour.

Plus: Great front desk staff. Minus: Breakfast was plain and limited in both options and portions. Shower head broken. Toilet erratic.

Very good value for the accommodations provided. Excellent location with decent breakfast. Main issues would be the the night time noise levels and not enough hair dryers equipped. Located across the street from Santa Lucia Hill, and within walking distance from many other attractions. Breakfast was simple but enough to get us started for the day on the right foot. The noise level was especially noticeable at night since we had a room facing the street, and the air conditioner installed in our window resulted in poor soundproofing. We were on the fifth floor and we still could hear conversations from the street below quite clearly. Not ideal for light sleepers. The hairdryer situation definitely has room for improvement. Hairdryers are not equipped in each room, but are available from the front desk upon asking. When I called, I was told that the hairdryer was not available, another guest had borrowed it, and it would not be available until the next day. This just seemed like poor resource planning by the front desk: if there are limited hairdryers, then it should not be loaned out for the entire night such that some guests no longer have the option available.

Friendly, accommodating staff. Not the greatest internet, so be aware of that. Excellent location, good value. Decor varies by room in terms of its, um, modernity. A *very* good choice for short stays!

Cold, dirty and in a bad state of repair. The paint on the ceiling was peeling as was the wallpaper with a dirty rug on the floor. The bathroom suite was outdated with a broken toilet seat and paint on the door frame was flaking and missing in large patches. The bedroom light fitting was detached from the ceiling and the furniture was broken and outdated. The internet is non existent despite what they say.

The hotel is a bit outdated. Felt like they had the same carpet, sofa, bed etc since the 1940’s. The check in staff and bar staff were great and super friendly. The breakfast was ok-ish but best to buy it outside. It felt clean (as clean as it could be given the state of everything). In an emergency it will fine.

Only one thing wrong, the WiFi was terrible. Rooms were unique, beds good, toilet seats were for a round toilet and our toilet was elongated and they are too low. Other than that, it was great and in the bar area, there was a piano player and everyone were singing. Good times.

Excellent location the hotel's old The staff are excellent Bar attached to the hotel is a wonderful bar. We use it every night My one complaint is that the mattress is very old and worn out. And we talk to the hotel staff and my only choice was to move to another room. The mattress would be the same, so it wasn't worth moving The staff were gonna move us if we wanted

The property was located in a quiet area but very walkable to the main attractions and plenty of restaurants nearby, only note that on Sundays the road in front of the hotel is closed for bikers so a 30sec walk to the corner to get a ride. The look of the room looks old and dirty, as well as the towels, but I feel that it's more old than actually dirty. Maybe a good bleaching of the towels will do and brighter lights will help. The staff is superbly helpful and friendly. The breakfast provided is very sufficient although the quality of coffee can be improved.
