The room had a strong smell of bleach as we entered. It was noted on a paper given to us at the front desk, that there was no complimentary breakfast and our room's deck was not painted as they had no time due to weather. It would have been great to know this ahead of time. We also had to ask for more pillows as they were not standard size, as the ones supplied were the smallest pillows I have ever used.

Room reserved was not what was received. Expedia site says ALL rooms have water views and balcony, the room we received had neither!! Had to go back to desk and change rooms for an additional cost!

We stayed there last year and loved it. Wanted to return for the boat festival and also loved that it was within walking distance so we didn’t need to worry about parking etc. We love the views and everything about the hotel.

The room was updated and clean. It had a large deck overlooking the water with two chairs and a table that was high enough to see the sailboats. Since the rooms are beautiful and updated, the deck needs a remodel. It doesn't compliment the interior of the room or property. The property needs to get their breakfast service back. They had it in the past, and I can say, we enjoyed having a muffin or cereal and coffee in the morning. They also should have coffee set up in the lobby.

Great location. Very clean inside. Only complaint is they don’t have a screen door to the balcony, lots of mosquitoes got inside after we opened the door at night.

Looked and felt cheap - no tissues in bathroom, no robes. Window blinds did not reach window sills - XS light. Had a "ocean view"- heavily obscured by the salt caked on every window. Decent sizr. impersonal. Weekend of a local festival but no "heads up" from the hotel. Only coffee in room no black tee.

Our room had a great view of the water. Hotel is about 5-minutes drive from downtown Port Townsend. Very conveniently located for shopping and dining. The room we reserved had one king size bed & one full-size bed which's suited for three adults not four--Unless one is a child. This is an old hotel and it shows. Sound insulation was poor--People directly above us walked with heavy steps and we heard every step all morning & night. But the scenery & friendly staff made it worthwhile!

Clean, updated room. Very nice. Numbers on the doors are hard to see, and some rooms are exterior entry, other are interior. Great staff. I'm staying again

The room was clean and decorated tastefully. The hotel did have a disclaimer at the check-in desk about the condition of the balconies. We found the lamp in our room unplugged and could not reach behind the bed to plug it in. There is an absence of electrical plugs for charging devices. The bathroom sink drain was very slow. Conveniently close to a restaurant. The front desk also had a disclaimer that they were not serving a continental breakfast.

The room we had was cunple but pretty. Either it was recently renovated or they do a good job maintaining it. The AC had a tiny, fast paced click, like someone clicking a pen really fast. Otherwise, the room was very quiet. I gave four starts because it was too quiet for me. 😆 I sleep with a fan on and there was no fan so there was no white noise or air movement. If these weren't an issue, for me, I would have given it 5 stars. The balcony was private and big. It looked right over the water. It was nice waking up to the fog and boats in the water. I recommend staying here. Next time I'll bring a fan.

Staff was friendly and helpful upon arrival. Room was super clean and view was beautiful! I was hesitant reading some of the previous reviews, but we had an amazing experience (stayed two nights) and will absolutely come back here!

Clean and quiet. Love having the patio point right out at the water. Many food options in walking distance.

We enjoyed our room. It was RIGHT on the water, with a balcony overlooking the water with sailboats moored. The bathroom is small and dated, but that's such a minor part of the room. The bed was large and comfortable and we had nice pillows, which matters to us! Parking is within feet of the door to the room, which is a bonus. It is easy to walk either north to the town or south to the boatyards.

Great views. Very clean. Updated interiors. Exterior paint and decking need a lot of work. Didn’t stop us from sitting on the deck to enjoy the waterfront views.
