Such a lovely cozy property with kind owners/staff. Campus cat very friendly and we loved to pet her on the way to the room. Very secure. Close to main road for easy access to local shops/restaurants/parks. Supermarket around the corner for cheaper options. We truly enjoyed our stay!

We had a great stay for a couple of nights at Casa Gem, and it is a gem! Nicely appointed with everything you need. Spacious and very clean. Breakfast was so good to start the day. We enjoyed the tranquility of Casa Gem.

This propierty is situated on a very quite area felt very safe, About 10 minutes walking distance from a big grocery store, no restaurant close by, but owners offered transportations to restaurants. Owners live in the property. Will recommend property if you are looking for a relax quite area

Nuestra estancia en Casa GEM ha sido una de las más placenteras que hemos tenido. Itzel y Serafín estuvieron siempre al pendiente de lo que necesitáramos. Nos dieron recomendaciones muy buenas de actividades y restaurantes a los que fuimos y quedamos muy satisfechos. Las opciones de transportación que ellos ofrecen hicieron nuestro viaje muy cómodo y divertido. Son perfectas para hacer viajes cortos en Playa del Carmen, sin costo o muy bajo costo, o para rentar un auto e ir un poco más lejos. Los desayunos (incluidos) que preparan diario eran justo lo que necesitábamos para empezar el día con el pie derecho. Sin duda los recomendamos y regresaremos pronto. Nos divertimos mucho con su compañía en los juegos de mesa. Muchas gracias muchachos por todas las atenciones.

we really enjoy the area and also the wonderful facilities and couple who own the property. Serafim is very helpful as is his wife Itzel. We recommend staying here for a relaxing and fun stay in Playa Del Carmen. A special thanks for their rides to and from Cancun. That really starts and ends the trip in the best way.

This B&B was fine to shower and rest our heads during a one night stay before heading to the airport in Cancun. Our bathroom was excellent with plenty of hot water and pressure. Breakfast was made to order and also lovely. The staff were attentive and professional. On the downside, the property and pool looked a little worn and the neighborhood did not seem the safest. All of the properties in this neighborhood have electrified walls and security cameras pointed at the street to keep out burglars and the host insisted that we park in front of the cameras. Our small room was very comfortable although the second bed was quite small for our two children. Also a heads up that Google maps may try to take you down a dirt track to get there, you must enter from the main highway by the Chinese restaurant - we circled a bit trying to find it. Overall, I wasn't unhappy with the stay but if I was heading back to Playa del Carmen I probably would seek a bigger room for our family.

The manager and their team went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect! They are very courteous and made us feel very welcomed. Their breakfasts are delicious and their rooms are extremely clean; they have the amenities as shown on the website. My family and I are defintively planning on coming back to Playa del Carmen and staying with them again. Thanks SO MUCH Casa Gem B&B!!!

We spent the night at Casa Gem before heading south on Mayan Coast roadtrip. We felt very welcomed by the staff, who were incredibly helpful in setting us up with dinner options, rental car, travel tips. They were accessible as resource throughout the stay and super super helpful. We'll definitely visit again!

Such a wonderful and quiet location, 15 mins from Xcaret, and 10 mins from downtown, it’s perfect if you need a breather from the congested downtown. I would come back again for sure!

Such a pleasant experience! From the time we arrived, until being dropped off at our next location, we had an incredible time. The hospitality was exceptional, and breakfast was incredible. Planned to take the ferry from Playa Del Carmen to Cozumel but because of the windy conditions the ferries were cancelled for 2 days!! Found Casa Gem through Expedia on a humbug and was so fortunate to find this amazing Bed and Breakfast just 10 minutes away from the ferry dock!! Located in a safe, residential neighborhood, the husband of the owners duo called me to make sure I was able to find the location and came outside to guide me to the property!! I went grocery shopping in anticipation of heading to my destination and they were kind enough to keep my groceries in their fridge.The property was clean, quaint and quiet!! My reservation came with several choices for a scheduled homemade breakfast. This was to insure the dining area was cleaned and sanitized for me. Breakfast was amazing and my host Itzel ( wife of the dynamic duo) helped me navigate the 2 hour road trip to Chenchi Itza and even gave me the entrance gate key in case they were not home when I returned!! My 2 night unexpected stay couldn’t have been any better!! Because of The central location, rooms, hospitality and gracious staff , I’ll definitely be back and would HIGHLY recommend the Casa Gem!!

If you doubt an excellent place, the staff is very attentive at all times, good location of beach parks.Very Agreeable.
