Tutto è stato perfetto. La struttura è molto carina e perfettamente tenuta, le camere pulite e ben organizzate, la colazione ricca in quantità e qualità, l’accoglienza top. Una bellissima esperienza che avremmo voluto durasse più a lungo.

I had requested 3 beds in a room specifically and order was received and accepted. When I went to the Hotel we werw told they had only 2 rooms. They were offering an upgrade to give us 3 bedroom. Person at the front refused to honor the request. Very poor customer service

Hotel Ungheria was a treat. The views of the lake were astounding, the building was beautiful, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and breakfast was stellar.

Excellent location and great staff

We had great experience, Hotel Ungheria has nice rooms, great service and a delicious breakfast. We'll definitely return anytime we're back in the area. Everything was superb, the only negative thing😂 was the recycled toilet paper (regular paper is actually more ecological than recycled paper).

Simply FANTASTIC! After a long drive from Frankfurt we were great with a smile and outstanding Italian hospitality. Everyone at the hotel was so warm and welcoming. Our room was extremely comfy and spacious. We had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was in fabulous Italian style. The Chef made the most delicious scrambled eggs. Cappuccinos YUM! The buffet was filled with local meats, cheeses, fruits, yogurts, bread and more. Sadly we only stayed one night. If you are looking for an amazing stay in Verse, you have found a gem with the Hotel Ungheria Varese 1946. Grazie!!!

The hotel is a good transit hotel. We stayed there 3 days to be at equal distance of Como and Lago Maggiore to visit conveniently both sites. The hotel location was not a good choice, because Varese is not very attractive. The hotel is just good but not exceptional : to far from downtown Varese and restaurants; getting a place in the tiny free parking is a lottery except if you reserve a place at a cost of 10€!

Was a ok hotel. Very clean. OK price, big room. Don't understand why it should be central. Not for the old city of Varese or as base for travel to ... The breakfast was not ours at all but this is subjective. lot of yogurts. The breakfast room more like a youth hostel.

Great alternative to Milan. The staff are helpful and very hospitable. I will definitely return.
