The hotel is in the same market. It does not have its own free parking. I had a small room, the very small bathroom made me uncomfortable. There was no air conditioning. I went on a business trip, I stayed at this hotel because I didn't have many options. It was in the area closest to my business meetings and there were no other options nearby. The hotel is really not a bad hotel. If I have to return I would stay there again. Fair price for this type of hotel $40 to $80 per night. If you are going to pay more than that, I would think about it a lot. On a separate matter not related to the hotel, I would like to take advantage of this space to express my annoyance with Expedia. I am a platinum member who aspired to be a gold member. Because of Expedia's policies I have lost hundreds of dollars. I really had to go to other agencies to be able to resolve my trip to Germany since Expedia did not give me the support I deserved. 0 stars for expedia.

The room was exceptionally spacious, with plenty of storage space for clothes and belongings. One of the lights wasn’t working but to be honest I forgot to report it. It had a little fridge which was great for keeping my beers cool! The staff were really friendly and welcoming. I didn’t try the food as I was too busy so I couldn’t comment on that. Fantastic location with plenty of shops for everything, alcohol, cigarettes, snacks and cosmetics.

Pictures were inaccurate and misleading. Initial impression was of a hotel which rents rooms by the hour! Convoluted access to the room and right at the top, up many flights of stairs. I was glad to be travelling light! Room was small with very little hanging space and only 2 hangars. Again, was glad I was only there for 1 night. Whilst the bed was comfortable, I was concerned about the cleanliness. The headboard was covered in detritus. WiFi did not work. Bathroom was adequate but I felt the need to clean the toilet seat! However, it was quiet and I was able to sleep on and off. On the positive side, all members of staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was also much better than I had expected. Please take a good look at the cleaning routine as this dragged the place down in my estimation!

Very rude staff no heating, old facilities

It had all the necessities I needed for my stay: bed, bathroom, breakfast, internet. The only issues I had was the physical size and architecture of the hotel: extremely small, maybe only about 20 rooms total, immediate stairs in order to reach reception desk, no elevator, and my room was assigned three more floors up, right below the roof, so the slant of the ceiling cut it into a smaller size.

Room and hotel was great. Allowed me early check in which was ideal. Area is a tad dodgy but overall fine. Short walk to train station

Ich war insgesamt zufrieden. Vor allem das Personal zeigte sich freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Hotel war anscheinend ausgebucht. Habe kein Zimmer mehr bekommen

Well located, closed to the railway station

Das positive zuerst Handtücher und Bett waren sauber. Nun das nicht so schöne … sehr in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel, die Decke in der Dusche war schimmelig, in der Früh ist mir vor dem Hotel eine Ratte über die Füße gelaufen, im denke ich schlimmsten Teil von Dortmund gelegen, extrem hellhörig konnte ab halb 3 nicht mehr schlafen von meiner Seite das seit langem schlimmste Hotel wenn nicht sogar das schlimmste in Deutschland das ich je besucht habe.

Wirklich sehr freundliches Personal. Frühstücksbuffet sehr reichhaltig. Einrichtung ist in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber. Umgebung ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Kommen gerne wieder.

Our room was near the reception and we heard everything. So really noisy. We only had towels for one person and the bathrooms are small. Beds were fine
