An excellent hotel within easy walking distance to the beach and numerous shops and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful, spotlessly clean - would highly recommend and would love to return.

Lovely hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Looks freshly decorated and clean. Comfortable bed. Great location five minutes from the beach. Ten minutes from train station. Room a bit small was the only downside.

After recently staying at the hotel here are a few pro’s and cons that I hope will help future visitors. Pros, Staff at reception are readily available to assist and are always happy to help. Access to the beach is less than 5 minutes with the centre being a 20 minute walk. For adventurers you can take a no8 bus followed by a 601/600 to Menton, Monaco and Eze. There is also pizza take away shop 2 doors away that does GF pizzas. Cons, walls are paper thin, we booked a superior room which was supposed to be sound proofed, we questioned if we were in the right room but got told we were. Breakfast is basic but there are ample places to eat. Not sure if we had crossed wires on the 1st day but the bedding wasn’t changed during our stay and had to ask for toilet roll twice. Overall experience was good as long as you don’t end up with a noisy neighbour.

This charming hotel is in a quiet part of Nice, close to the shore. The decor was whimsical and the rooms small, but get the job done (small rooms are common in Europe). The beds were comfortable and the bathroom spacious. There is an elevator in the building. The gem of this hotel is the staff. They were genuinely warm, kind, and very helpful. They really made our stay the best. We also loved the locked luggage room, which allowed us to easily enjoy another day in Nice as we waited for a late flight. We would happily return to this hotel if we find ourselves in Nice again.

Very nice hotel indeed. Friendly and efficient staff. Rooms are small but perfectly acceptable with excellent aircon. They were spotlessly clean. Location is excellent - a few mins walk to the Promenade and maybe 15 mins to the Old Town of Nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Our stay at L’Alcôve was fantastic, the location perfect; less than 5 minutes from the beach and a short walk to the train station. The facilities were very well maintained and always clean. We had breakfast at the hotel every morning which had plenty of options and was always fresh. The staff were so helpful and always available, Yazid especially was so friendly and made our stay even better, he is an asset to the team.

Was accessible to everything, located just at the being of the busy centre. Very clean and friendly staff. Had all the accommodation needed. Will surely stay there again. Stayed 5 night. Highly recommend .

This hotel is a hidden gem. Amazing location in a neighborhood with lots of character. And wonderful restaurants nearby. But the most impressive aspect of this establishment is the staff, especially Yazid and Lucresia who were extremely warm, ingratiating and helpful. We recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Nice.

Comfortable stay, very friendly, helpful staff. Only 10-15 mins walk from Old City and main attractions yet there are plenty of restaurants and shops in immediate vicinity of this hotel - often for better prices. Perfect distance to water for running. Thank you!

The staff was amazingly friendly and welcoming. The room was clean but a bit tinier than I expected. Nevertheless, it didn't upset me as I was staying there just for a night. It's safe and in a great location. If you’re as big a walker as I am, you'll enjoy the fact that the hotel is approximately 1h11 away from the airport. And sure, Promenade Des Anglais is short 5min walk away.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location couldn’t have been better—just a 3-minute walk to the beautiful beach, making it easy to enjoy the stunning coastline whenever I wanted. What truly set this hotel apart, though, was the staff. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to assist with any requests or questions. Their helpfulness really made my stay even more memorable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Nice, and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area!

If you love outdoor, the hotel is walking distance to the promenade. We use the hotel only to rest as most of the time we are out. Do not expect a very high end accommodation with amenities. The hotel offers the proximity to anywhere you want to go around the city centre. I gave A+ to Yashid in the reception for having a customer service attitude that is splendid.

Their communication and attention to customers was very good.
