We had a wonderful stay at The Mill at Glynhir. The location is stunningly beautiful and so peaceful. Matt and Helen were superb hosts—warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay, their attention to detail is second to none as everything you need is provided. Breakfast was first class, with delicious local produce, and the amenities were exceptional. A perfect countryside retreat that we would highly recommend! We had only booked a 2 night stay but loved the Mill so much we asked for an extra night and were delighted that they able to accommodate us. We have already booked another stay next month and cannot wait to return. Tara & Dean

Beautiful surroundings with the gentle calling of the stream below. The was extremely well presented and the attention to detail was professionally carried out. The breakfast was out of this world. Helen and Matt take a bow you deserve it.

What makes this B+B stand out is the attention to detail in making guests comfortable. Little things like providing body lotion, plenty of cups/mugs so you don't have to try to wash up, fresh milk, plenty of sockets for your phone etc and much more. On top of this the surrounding countryside is beautiful and quiet, the breakfasts excellent with plenty of choice, and the hosts provide a warm welcome.

We had a great stay at the Mill… so quiet and peaceful and in a stunning location. Helen and Matt were terrific hosts ensuring our stay was perfect. Our room was spacious and comfortable and beautifully decorated. A fridge with fresh milk and an incredibly generous Biscuit jar (apologies for over indulging! 😂) was certainly a bonus. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful which we really enjoyed. We would highly recommend this lovely place and we hope to return. Graham and Kay.

Couldn’t recommend it more highly, Matthew and Helen were lovely, really helpful and the location is wonderful. We had a lovely balcony with beautiful views and the room was faultless, spotlessly clean and they had thought of everything and added lots of extras which were very much appreciated. Having a fridge with fresh milk for your cuppa was also very much appreciated along with the water they provide. The naughty jar of treats and snacks was also very tempting along the really lovely breakfast they lovingly cook. Thank you Helen and Matthew x

Helen & Matt are first class hosts and The Mill offers a peaceful, relaxed break in beautiful surroundings. As many others have said, breakfast is of hotel quality and freshly cooked to order. For our evening meals we took an easy 11 mile drive to Llandeilo where there were several options. Visiting National Botanic Gardens was easy (once we used a map and ignored SatNag!) and that's an excellent day trip. We rarely visit the same place twice, however, we wouldn't hesitate to return to The Mill at Glynhir.

'The Mill" offers the room standards of a high class hotel as great effort has been to anticipate the guests needs. Where else would you find a jar filled with mini chocolate bars to enjoy whilst watching Netflix! Breakfast didn't disappoint either with plenty of choice including vegetarian options. In a nutshell if you are wanting to experience a rural stay away from the stress of everyday life with warm welcoming hosts this is the place for you.

We are in our 60's, well travelled, and I'm telling you this is the best B & B we've ever stayed at. Very friendly welcome and excellent breakfast. Our room had everything with thoughtful amenities (including a cookie jar !) with a large spacious bed. Plus a v good golf course 'next door'.

Fantastic hotel in the middle of nowhere. It's quite close to the Red Kite feeding station Llangadog SA19 9YG, equally remote, which was well worth a visit at their 3 pm feeding time. Incredibly quiet and restful. Dreadful weather and hosts thoughtfully left an umbrella outside our room before breakfast. The hosts were very friendly. The bedroom was delightful with quality bedding. Plenty of hot water. Very generous hospitality tray including fresh milk in a small fridge. Would have appreciated some caffeine free items both on the tray and at breakfast. We were warned that the internet was slow but we could not get it to work all evening. As a result we read and watched a concert on TV which may have contributed to the deep and dreamless sleep we had! The breakfast was well cooked and delicious with a wide choice. Toiletries were provided in small, single use plastic containers, made in China. In the fridge were 4 single use plastic bottles of water, and similar bottles were also provided at breakfast which reduced the marking for sustainability. Definitely on our list of B&Bs to visit again.

Such a beautiful place and the room was immaculate. The tea and snacks in the room were very generous. The host made us feel very welcome and asked what time we wanted our breakfast! Cozy bed. Towel warmer on in the bathroom. Parking was spacious and the area just naturally stunning. Balm for the soul. So wished I had arranged to stay longer.

Wow such a lovely place to stay, everything you need from Toothbrush to snacks and a fridge in the room. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. With a lovely terrace with table and chairs so decided to get a takeaway on the evening and eat there as the Garden was stunning. Then to finish the stay an amazing breakfast. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Thank you Helen and Matt for making us feel very welcome.
