This hotel is at the heart of historic Salvador, footsteps from everything. Because of its location, only official taxis are allowed to drive through, so don't take Uber to get there. The staff is so friendly, the breakfast spread was fantastic, the hotel gives a high-end boutique experience where the amenities are modern but the decor and architecture is authentic to historic Salvador.

The hotel was in Pelourinho area. We were able to walk around and see the touristic sites all around. Rooms were clean and quiet. We had an upgrade from the owner which was very nice. The food in the restaurant was very good as well. Breakfast included fruits, juices, omelettes. People in the reception were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely return.

Stay was much more pleasant than I expected. Located in the middle of all the amenities needed, from food, entertainment, sightseeing and shopping. Staff was friendly and helpful, bilingual and willing to answer any questions. Very clean room, bed was huge and comfy, with a spacious balcony that caught the sunset perfectly. Most of all, safe and secure. This will again be my choice of stay when I return in the near future.

What a wonderful experience. The staff were outstanding. The owner personally saw to our comfort. It was truly outstanding. A 10 without a doubt.

Lovely hotel owned and run by a French couple. Great location and delicious breakfast. Drinks by the pool too!

All staff was really very kind, it's restaurant is one of the best in even when bar may can be improved as well as machines at gym zone, but is an excellent option to know the historic zone in a safe, clean an well attended location.

We highly recommend staying at Casa Do Amarelindo. Fabulous boutique hotel and a great team who make you feel so welcome on arrival and throughout your stay. Front desk / reception staff able to offer advice on security, transport and info on visiting all the sites. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable :-)

Lovely historic area with everything close by, restaurants, shopping, sites it had wonderful street music everyday. Just an overeall great experience - we had a blast! I would definitely recommend this boutique hotel for the Great service we received from Rodrigo, Adam, Elias and Viliames and all of the wonderful staff. Easy to get to the beaches from the hotel by taxi, I just caanot say enough about the informative and caring staff at Casa Amarelindo.

This is a boutique hotel in the center of the historic section of the city. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was very good - offering local dishes. The renovation of the building is documented in a book of before and after pictures and quite interesting. The staff a terrific - friendly, helpful, always available. We had several changes for our flight into the city and they were so responsive about having a driver meet us at the airport. Highly recommend.

Wonderful trip to Salvador made in even better by the stay at Amarelindo. The staff were super helpful and welcoming! Every day was a pleasure staying there. We received great advice, safety tips, your recommendations and top notch. I will miss the breakfast there!
