The staff are friendly and accommodating

The staff was very helpful, the room is big and clean and have everything you need. But the performance from the staff at the restaurant on breakfast such an unpleasant experience. It was too loud, the restaurant is too small for that kind of show.

Regarding service: Overall, the hotel is good, nice, and clean. However, it would be nice if the receptionist would greet guests with a smile and say good morning, afternoon, and evening. Since the first thing we see when we open the door is the receptionist, we hope someone will greet us. Regarding food: The taste wasn't quite right for me. It felt like there was a lack of seasoning, and I wasn't familiar with the menu, especially the main courses. Maybe it's because my tongue is Javanese, and this was my first time in Batam, so I felt a bit uneasy with the taste. Regarding cleanliness: The windows outside the rooms and the elevator corridors would be better cleaned. Since the hotel is located near the sea, I understand they get dirty easily due to the sea air. Regarding amenities: Your flip-flops are rough and painful. Try trial and error before giving them to customers. I also hope you provide two bottles of water in advance as we can refill the water dispenser. A filled drinking water bottle can only be given once when the customer checks in and can then be refilled at the dispenser.

The staff was nice, check in was smooth and didn't take long.

Overall it's good, delicious, comfortable, the staff are friendly, especially the breakfast menu is incredibly complete.

The room is comfortable and clean and most importantly, there is a bolster....it's a shame it was only a short trip for one night...if I go to Batam, I will stay at Harris again.

The location is very strategic, close to the mall, there are many food variations, but there is no children's pool, so the children can't swim, the rooms are a bit lacking for a price above 1 million

I stayed at the Harris Hotel Batam Center because of its strategic location in the city center, and I was also attending a relative's wedding there. Unfortunately, for a 4-star hotel, my stay was a bit underwhelming. The hotel was quite busy, but the corridor leading to my room was hot because the air conditioning wasn't on. The only drinking water in the room was empty glass bottles that had to be refilled at a dispenser. While the intention may be good to reduce plastic, I think other environmentally friendly yet more comfortable options could be considered. The pillows and bolsters were also hard, making sleeping uncomfortable. I also found the breakfast to be lacking in variety and tasted unpleasant. I stayed for 3 nights, and on the second day my room card suddenly stopped working. I called reception via the phone in the hallway and was promised a replacement card, but it took a long time to arrive, so I had to go down to reception myself. The elevator also had some issues, going up and down unevenly. The location is excellent, but in terms of comfort and service, there's still room for improvement. In my opinion, if you're looking for more comfort, the hotel next door (SNTK) might be a better choice.

Just beside Batam Center Jetty. If you are with light luggage/backpack, you can just walk to the hotel.

A clean, comfortable hotel with beautiful views in the city center, overlooking the sea. The hotel's peaceful atmosphere, and the varied and delicious breakfast menu are a highlight. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay here.
