The hotel is very homey, clean, cool, and airy. The staff are all friendly. Access to the facilities is easy and convenient for shopping for travel needs. For Muslims, congregational prayers are close to the Ibn Khaldun Mosque (reading the imam's verses feels like listening to a murottal). I got a room on the second floor. I liked the access; it felt like trekking uphill, so it felt like exercise.

The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly, and the view from the room is beautiful, with Mount Arjuna during the day and the city lights at night. It's close to Alun-alun Batu (Batu Square), which is within walking distance. The only downside is there's no elevator, so if you get a top-floor room and have to carry your child, it's quite a hassle to get up and down.

Overall okay, just maybe: 1. For Wi-Fi, do not default to log out if not in use, so you have to reconnect every time you return to the hotel. 2. The foam of the room chair, maybe clean it again because it itches when used to sit.
