Nice view. What's a shame is that all the rooms smell of septic tank. I moved to room 4 and it still smelled. It should have been handled quickly to be sucked out so that the room would be comfortable. I felt nauseous. I couldn't even eat. It's a shame that the pool is nice and the view is good. The room is neat but the toilet drain is not maintained. I stayed there twice. But there was no change. Hopefully it will be handled quickly so it doesn't disturb other guests staying there.

The atmosphere is very homey, almost like a county/village, not like a hotel. The staff is very friendly, with typical Javanese Jogja style. Recommended for family vacations or staycations, and very close to Malioboro. Going to Malioboro is like going through your backyard, and this is literally the case. Just walk down the back alley for about 25 meters and voilaa, you're in front of the Yogyakarta Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) building. Thanks, Batik Hotel, if I have time in Jogja, I will stop by again.

Stayed with 3 friends in 1 family room, the room was spacious, clean and there was shortcut access to Jalan Malioboro.

My favorite hotel every time I go to Yogyakarta, I like Hotel Batik because the car park is not far away, the building is not multi-storey, and it reminds me of the rural atmosphere of my late grandparents' house.

Comfortable, very close to Malioboro, culinary tourism is well accessible, will stay again, thank you.
