I have stayed here earlier this year and apart from the air-conditioning not working in the lobby and so-so breakfast spread, everything else was OK. After my previous experience with the breakfast, I decided to skip it this time. I think they gave me the same room as my previous visit. This time around:
1) I was going to boil some water to make coffee in the room. Almost as soon as I pour water into the kettle, almost all of the water leaked out from under the kettle within 30 seconds. I informed the front desk of my discovery and a replacement was brought to my room within 10 minutes. When the person who brought me the replacement kettle, he informed me that the plugpoint where the kettle was located was not working. Thank you very much. Thankfully, there was no shortage of plugpoints in the room.
2) While I was working at the desk in the room, there were 2 plugpoints in the wall, next to the desk. The first one I plugged into, no current was flowing out of it. Thankfully, the 2nd plugpoint was working.
3) The area, where the hotel is located, recently installed a paid parking system where one can pay using a Touch n Go card, credit or debit card. The Touch n Go card can be validated at the front desk and I was informed that once validated, the validation last for 24 hours. This parking system was not in place during my first visit. There are 2 exit points. No problem getting in but when I exit at one of the exit point, the parking system was offline, the barrier was up and the touch pad of the parking system did not respond to my Touch n Go card that I used to tap in. Needless, I couldn't tap in later with the same card. Thankfully, I had a 2nd Touch n Go card with me and I tapped in with that and informed the front desk of my experience. They took photos of my 1st Touch n Go card and validated my 2nd Touch n Go card that night. The next morning, I checked out, drove my car to the other exit point, tapped my 2nd Touch n Go card and RM12 was deducted from it.
