What can I say about Parklane? Well, for one, it's my favorite place where I love to stay whenever I visit Cebu. The obvious reason is: "The Staffs." They are the ones that make guests (like myself) return. They recognize return guests (I am one of them). They greet me by name with a genuine smile, make me feel welcome, know my preferences, and anticipate my needs. This all comes with sincerity and courtesy. I'm especially taken aback when one of the top management personnel, Mr. Richard, took time off to approach and enquire about my stay and meals in the Hotel. I met him first when I last stayed in March 2024, and he remembered me. Wow! Anyway, he updated me on the ongoing & upcoming events in Cebu. I liked the Fiesta, though. That's the way it should be for the management personnel to interact with Hotel guests, and that will show their interest in guests' well-being. The following staff are worth mentioning as they had gone the extra mile in making me feel excited about putting up in Parklane: Manuel's (Service)-Edelito (the first person whom I had interacted with when I stayed at Parklane in the beginning), Zyrel, Janica, Antoinette, Kryzzlyn, Claire, Jannah, Dave, etc. Culinary-Diane (first time she made me vegetarian fried rice, thought that I was a vegetarian when I ordered a vege omelet). She anticipated my needs. She wowed me at that moment.-Albert (one of the first chefs whom I know, cooks and caters to my request in dining. Bean Date-Apple (she is a jem, friendly, and always with a smile).-Sharmin. Housekeeping-Tess, Analyn & team Security-Guico, Trazo, Catamo, Tingal, Boragay, Yamore, Abuno. Front Desk-Von and team Banquet-Ronald (who brought me around the first time). Concierge-Ryan (with Ronald, brought me out for dining and sightseeing the first time) & team. Ka Nanan-Vanessa. PS: Please forgive me as there are many more whom I couldn't remember their names. They are equally fantastic like the above mentioned. I missed Edwin, who I think was an inspiration to the team. I missed Sheila (bean date). I'm going to miss Vanessa too. Alright, I think I have said enough. Before I leave, I would like to say a big thank you to all who had taken care of my sister while she was there during her stay. She had enjoyed herself in Parklane, and she said "a big thank you" to the staff. Once again, thank you Parklane, and remember the staff are an asset to the hotel. If you take care of them, they will in turn look after the welfare of the guests and the business of the hotel, to flourish. I wish Parklane every success in its future endeavor. God Bless.
