I stay here often. The rooms are spacious and fairly clean. It's not far from Adventist Hospital. Wheelchair access is a bit tricky, as you have to enter through the basement, where you have to notify staff before opening the barrier.

We've stayed twice at the Tropic Eight Suites Penang Hotel. The hotel is very close to the city center and Penang Adventist Hospital. There are also several restaurants nearby. Overall, the Tropic Eight Hotel is a great choice for a stay in Penang.

Window too big but cant handle vehicle noise, i cant sleep all night

Equipments in the toilet need more attention. For example the toilet shower (there is no spray, just got the hose), the shower drainage system also block. Furthermore the tv channels need to ne added for kids or family channel programmes

Always stay here whenever I go to Penang, since the location is super close to Adventist Hospital. There’s also a nearby halal restaurant, Nasi Kandar Pelita.

Recommended, I've tried these rooms: 108, 808, 708, 508. Huge and comfortable for 2 people. Near food court and easy to go around, behind Adventist Hospital. It takes RM 7 by Grab to go to Island Hospital.

Convenient if you go to Adventist Hospital, it's a 5 minutes walk, and 5-10 minutes drive to Island, Northern Heart Hospital & Gurney Mall. 4 convenient shops and hawker centers next to the hotel, and Oo Kopitiam is just 5 minutes walk. Make sure you bring your laundry liquid detergent to wash your laundry. The hotel is super clean, they change sheets and towel every day. I hope the hotel will still be clean next year for my visit.
