One of the nearest hotels to Tugu Jogja (walking distance)... Quite a nice place.

Friendly staff, strategic location, good rate.

I've stayed here so often that I'm at a loss for comments. Anyway, whenever I go to Yogyakarta, this is my first choice. It's strategically located, close to everything, and the staff are incredibly friendly.

The hotel staff was friendly, the check-in process was fast, the wifi was good, the cleanliness was also good, but the dispenser wasn't working so there wasn't any hot water to drink.

The food for breakfast is boring... The menu is always the same... and the taste is not good

POP Hotel Jl. AM Sangaji Location: Very strategically located at the main entrance of Tugu Jogja, which really helped us stay close to tourist attractions. Hotel Facilities: Quite good, but there are still some areas of the hotel that we think need some touch-ups or perhaps renovations, especially the air conditioning, water heater, and perhaps some bathroom equipment, which we feel are still lacking compared to other hotels of the same star rating. Furthermore, other supporting amenities, such as the welcome drink, were also somewhat lacking. Really, the kettle was empty? It's okay if we have to get our own, but would it have been better if it wasn't provided, so if we wanted to check in, we'd have to get it ourselves from the provided dispenser? ASR member said it was, but it turns out even the smallest details and amenities were overlooked.

I have a basic subscription to stay here when I go to Jogja.

Breakfast is always fought over by school groups so there are long queues

When I go to Jogja, I often stay at Hotel Pop Sangaji, besides being close to UGM, it also has easy access to everywhere.

There is no drink provided in the room...

A very strategic area! Malioboro is even in walking distance. Food was just ok and staff should be faster to restock the food as soon as the food is running out. Room are fine and included sofa is a great plus for me.

Close to the monument, every morning I exercise to Malioboro.

If I go to Jogja, I always come here, it's a really strategic location to cute cafes and it's really strategic in the middle of the city and the road in front is 2-way, not one-way, it's important.
