Nice, quiet place to stay on the lake. Add the boat option when you book, the paddle boat was relaxing!

Everything was nice and clean. There was a nice firepit and wood for a nice evening by the fire.

Very clean and comfortable. Prompt response with questions. The lockbox is very convenient and secure. A great place for overnight stay after a long day of hiking. Overall very pleased with our stay and will return.

In the pictures it did not appear to be such an old style motel. It could definitely use a makeover. There appears to be long term renters there. Pet fees need to be clearly posted be Expedia and any lodging facility.

The room was very clean. The bed was ok but the pillows were flat. The shower was hot and had pump bottles of body wash, shampoo, and conditioner on the shower wall. I appreciated the makeup remover wipes. There were plenty of thick, soft towels. There was a hair dryer, coffee maker, fridge, and microwave all in good working order. There was also an iron and ironing board. There was no closet or hangers. The AC kept the room very comfortable even though it was very hot out. I slept very well. I wasn’t disturbed by any noises outside or from the other rooms. All in all, it was a nice stay. I would come again and recommend this hotel. It was easy to get to and we parked right in front of the door. Checking in and out was very simple using my phone.

The room was very clean, bed was comfortable. It looks like they're still working on the property exterior so it's not overly impressive so don't be put off. We would stay there again.

Booked the Sara Placid Inn & Suites because not as touristy or high brow as Lake Placid. Delighted to discover kayak, paddle, life vest & Propane BBQ are complimentary! Walking/biking trail runs behind the property, adjacent to a lily filled pond and across the street from Lake Flower. The BEST Suite is #18 (steps up to 2nd floor) with a forest view outside the living room picture window. Hardwood floors, Two Queen bedrooms, one with skylight and desk, a kitchen flowing into living and sit-down dining room (granite countertop with seats separate kitchen area), full size refrigerator and stove, well arranged shower-bathtub, all very clean with the fluffiest towels. More like a mini-vacation flat than a motel room. Check-in & out via phone text, So Easy. Hosts respond quickly. Very friendly. Walk into town can include Mountain Mist Ice Cream stop (famous) and Fusion Market beverage stop. Took a side path through Pine Ridge Cemetery, crossing river bridges to the far side of town and Bitters and Bones for a terraced lunch. Sourdough bakery across the street. Stopped by Nori’s Cafe and Organic Food Coop on the trip back. So many music venues in town. The BEST STAY in the area for value, luxury of kitchen & kayak and beauty!

The place was fine, but like all other hotels on the area it is way overpriced for what you get.
