The location is excellent- the service is subpar. We dropped our luggage off in the morning before check in, completed all the paperwork, but when we came back at check in the receptionist was very rude and curt with us. She didn’t even welcome us, said she wanted our passports, when my husband told her that we already completed the check in process and just needed the keys to the room, she told him in an agressive way that she needed it regardless. She told us our room number multiple times- pointing it out on the card, the whole experience felt like we were kids being scolded by an adult without having done anything. The bare minimum of welcoming guests is to tell them hello or welcome/ enjoy your stay. This left a bad taste in our mouths. Also beware the room doesn’t have an iron if that’s something you need during your stay. The location is excellent though, and there’s a valet parking right across the street for 15 euros a day, and u can take ur car out multiple times a day with no surcharge.

Overall a good stay. The hotel and room were clean. Breakfast was quite good and we were surprised by the number of options. The dining room is noce with an exterior portion. The rooms looked nothing like the pictures though. They were fine, but those pictured are probably the suites. I think the rate was a bit expensive for what it was to be honest. But it was still nice and convenient for what we needed (only 1 night.

The hotel is very modern, clean with all the amenities of a 5 star hotel. It is close to all the bar’s restaurants and shops although the area around is a little sketchy. It has a good parking in front and good breakfast.

Not a boutique hotel. It is a 3 star hotel. The rooms are misrepresented online. It is listed as a Courtyard View and the two balconies face a wall. Reservation was chosen for quite nice view for one week and we faced a wall. It was quiet but not what we booked. Especially for a Business suite in a Boutique hotel. Look elsewhere. There are many options close by.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for four nights in late June 2025. Overall, the Dom Boutique Hotel is not as nice in person as pictured online, however, the biggest selling point of this property is its central location. That said, there are several reasons that left us disappointed with our stay and we don't understand why this hotel has a 9.4 rating on Expedia. CONS 1. Room was not as pictured with low quality finishings. 2. Low quality linens. 3. There was no running water for a period. 4. Walls are thin, we travel with a noise machine so at least sound from neighbouring rooms were drowned out, but we were awoken 2 out of the 4 nights from loud alarms going off outside. 5. Of the four nights, we only asked to get fresh towels on the third and they didn't have enough to replace all of them. 6. Second, the front desk staff are not very friendly (fine), but when we asked about the gym they said it was downstairs. They failed to mention you need a key to enter, so it was always locked and we had to ask about it since they did not offer this information. PROS 1. Location 2. Beside a paid valet parking lot We would definitely look elsewhere if we were to visit Heraklion again.

Very nice hotel good location. If you are driving there is a parking lot across the street. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is great. I would definitely recommend this place.

The location is perfect. Close to the bus stop if you choose to do so for Knossos or airport. 5 minutes to heart of town, Staff was very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I’d stay again,

Wonderful hotel in conversation location. Staff really nice and helpful. We were given an upgrade which was a pleasant surprise. Room and bathroom very good. Parking is available at a reduced rate in the car park opposite. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Would recommend and stay again.

Hotel was in a perfect location to everything in Heraklion! Clean and nice sized rooms with a balcony overlooking the quaint city. Staff was friendly and very helpful. They even made sure we had a breakfast waiting for us at our 5am checkout. I highly recommend this great hotel!

Dom Boutique Hotel was such a great find! The staff were super friendly and very helpful. Our room was really clean, spacious, and comfy—perfect to come back to after a day out. The location is also amazing. It’s in a safe neighborhood and just a short walk to tons of great restaurants, bars, cute little boutique shops, parks, and the main sights. We’ll definitely book again on our next trip to Heraklion!

Absolutely loved our stay here in May 2025. Clean, modern, great breakfast, walking distance to everything, grocery store across the street. Enjoyed the patio every night sipping some wine.

Honestly, we arrived late and because earlier ferry cancellations just ate breakfast and left. The breakfast had a large variety of good food, the staff was attentive and the rooms had simple luxury. The location is central.
