The accomodation was once a palace and had been beautifully restored and added to. The room was large with a fabulous marble bathroom , shower and powder room. The staff was friendly and helpful and we were welcomed with a bottle of frizzante wine and chocolates which was a nice touch. The bed was comfortable and contour pillows were available on request. The complimentary breakfast was a standout and one of the best we have ever experienced. All in all a great choice for our stay in beautiful Venice.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Definitely a 5* experience. Lovely staff, great decor, unique room (we were in superior double). Good location. Fantastic breakfast - I had a omelette and it was the best out of all places we have stayed on holiday.

Staff is amazing, very professional. Extemely clean and up scale place to stay. Can’t say enough about the staff. Would definitely be my first choice to stay again in Venice.

My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The front desk staff, especially the man with glasses, was rude and dismissive. He made me feel unwelcome, and I couldn’t help but feel his attitude was influenced by either my being a solo female traveler or my appearance. Every time I asked for help, he was unresponsive and unhelpful. The room was small, uncomfortable, and excessively warm. When I asked to lower the air conditioning, he only adjusted it by 1°, which did nothing. The bed was uncomfortable, and the overall room quality did not justify the price. On my last day, after having my luggage held, I returned and sat in the lobby to wait for my train. The same staff member asked if I needed my bags, acting as if I didn’t belong there. He didn’t offer any hospitality, and I was left feeling uncomfortable. I moved to another part of the hotel to avoid further interaction. Breakfast was poorly managed—half an hour after the scheduled time, the buffet wasn’t ready, and there was no to-go option, unlike other hotels I stayed at in Italy. While the restaurant staff was friendly, the poor service and uncomfortable accommodations made this hotel the worst experience of my trip. I would not recommend it to anyone and will not return.

Amazing hotel, high quality, attention to detail, superb breakfast service and excellent staff.

Loved the location of hotel, away from the congested area approaching St Mark’s square. Was a 30 minute walk to St Mark Square. We appreciated the meet and greet service the hotel offered and thought it was definitely worth it. Very kind and attentive staff, really good breakfast, beautiful room and bathroom. Would have liked the ability to increase fan speed for the a/c. Thank you for our beautiful stay.

Our stay was truly magical. The hotel was beyond our expectations and the staff were wonderful, helpful and considerate. Everything about this hotel was luxuriously perfect from the beds to the breakfast. An absolutely fabulous historic experience.

Great hotel

This is advertised as a 5 star hotel but there was no air conditioning or even an air fan. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable. The elevator did not work and no notice was put up suggesting it does. I do not think this is a 5 star hotel and is more in line with a 3 star.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff went above and beyond, and the property is beautiful! We booked a room with a canal view and so glad we did! The concierge booked a private water taxi for us to get to the airport - one of the highlights of the trip! I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return very soon!

Hotel is new, very nice, room is spacious. It is 5 minutes away from the train station, don’t need to take a taxi. Around the hotel is very quiet and safe. The staff is amazing

The location is right around the corner from train station, right in front of canal and walking distance to shopping. The service in hotel is impeccable and very safe and honest staff. Luigi the supervisor is very nice and accommodating

Beautiful hotel, a nice distance away from the crowds of St. Marks. Nice staff, with a special shout out to manager Gianluigi who resolved a hefty additional surchage fee due to my booking error. My room was huge, facing the canal, breakfast buffet was great and you could order additional items if desired. Highly recommend.
