Great location, within walking distance of old town and all attractions/sights.

I could not have been happier with Pensión Garibai. Yes, the room is small, but ultra modern. You can’t beat the location in Centro just a five minute walk from Old Town and the main beach. Due to its small size, reception is only open from 9:00 AM to 7 PM , but that should not be an issue for most people. There is a 24 hour coffee machine just off the lobby. Ana, who was the receptionist for the week I was there is a delight. She gave me an excellent restaurant recommendation and can help with other recommendations as needed. She booked a cab to the airport for me before she left yesterday, and it showed up right on time this morning well before reception opened. The rooms are immaculately cleaned every day. I highly recommend this perfectly located Pensión for your stay in San Sebastián Donedta.

Exactly what we needed, this place couldn’t have been more perfect. Great location that’s close to everything, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. We’ll certainly be back

Clean, spacious, close to everything! We loved Amaya at the front desk, she was so helpful and the after hours check in was simple. The room was beautiful with a huge outdoor patio including table and chairs. The living room and room each had a door to the patio. The bed was comfortable and clean. The location is very close walking distance to the beach and old town, and there’s a restaurant, and small grocery store right downstairs! The hotel provided coffee pods in the room with a coffee maker in the reception area. There is a small refrigerator in the room. We really enjoyed everything, and appreciate the wonderful service.

The position in the town was good. The room was small and lacked space for suitcases.

Ana was superb! She was very helpful and attentive. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. All amenities needed. Walkable distance to the concha and to the old part of the city.

A wonderful night. Wish I had longer! Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable and the bed was amazing. My best night’s sleep in Spain. The area had so many restaurants and bars to choose from. A beautiful beach is less than two blocks!

The concierge, Ana, was amazing and gave us the most helpful recommendations for our stay. The location was unbeatable—just one block to the beach and 2 blocks to the old town area, without being in a loud area. Would definitely stay there again!

Clean and tidy (if a little small room) and walkable to all areas. Centre of town so some nighttime noise including bin emptying and street cleaning. Great intro from reception with lots of info but daytime reception coverage only. Free coffee very nice when machine worked (failure happened out of hours!). Like many others we struggled to know what button to press (it’s the one with the big blue P) to gain access (within hours) and struggled even more to understand if we were talking to a real person or an automated voice. Just requires a more detailed check in procedure and a few pictures.

An absolute gem of a property in San Sebastian. We spent three days here...walking distance to everything. Room was very clean and well appointed. The staff made the trip...recommendations for where to eat, how to find the best cheesecake in Spain, and recommendations for sightseeing. She even booked us an early morning taxi to the train station. I would definitely recommend this property.

The hotel is very nice, clean etc. there is no front desk employee after 7pm The neighborhood is VERY NOISY. Yelling and loud conversations— until about 3am. Very difficult to get sleep. Obviously. Hotel should supply earplugs. Not being dramatic here.

Fabulously situated in central San Sebastián. Perfect for a short stay with very helpful staff. If you’re looking for luxury, this is not for you, but, as a base for exploring San Sebastián and having a very short walk to the beach, this is perfect.

The hotel was in a great location, no frills but super value for money. There is NO parking though, the hotel website is clear about this (it is payable local @ €29 a day). Expedia website is not clear, it does not mention the additional cost, they say that the hotel has parking. It does not.

Great location for pinxtos in the old town and La Concha beach. Nice clean ensuite room with a fridge which was handy. Tea and coffee making facilities on the landing which we made good use of. Lovely place.
