Excellent hotel and staff.

I arrived on property early because my flight was really early. And what seemed like low occupancy. I had an emergency they informed us that we had to wait till 3pm to give us the room key because that is check in time. Whilst I understand this, I also think that expections could be made. Their monring staff was helpful when it came to assisting with a wheelchair and finding the nearest ER. But to have guest that was obviously in pain and need of somwhere to rest on a chair at your restuarant bar was a big no no. The room could've been provided before 3pm because it was ready. I still ended up getting back looong after checking time when i was done with the ER. When we finally got to the room it was really stuffy, it was obvious that the cleaners aren't thorough. I even witnessed it once by a room service visit. We ended up staying for 4 nights and opted to spend the rest of our time in Panama at another hotel and this was one of the best decisions we made. Also the breakfast is as Continental as it gets. Same thing on rotation every Morning. I was getting tired of it. Mike was an amazing staff

Wow! Beautiful decor, super clean, and very welcoming and friendly staff. Breakfast was out of this world in the gorgeous courtyard. Wish I could have stayed longer!!

We were given an early check in, as. We arrived at the hotel around 12:30pm. Before we checked in we were able to store our luggage in a safe room close to the front desk. Upon receiving the keys no orientation was given of the property, eg, where the dinning areas are, so much so we found out about the roof top dining/bar the night before we left. On the first night while showering the room was flooded with water from the bathroom. The water went between the shower wall tiles and through the dry wall. The hotel offered a room change two rooms down. This new room was very musty and the shower had lots of mildew. The ceiling of the shower has water marks. I was not comfortable in the room. The decor of the room and property are the best things about it.

This was a great Boutique Hotel in the Downtown area of Panama city. The suite was large, renovated nicely, with a comfortable bed and high pressure shower with steaming hot water.

I am forever grateful for the tremendous service always offered by Gran Evenia! I would say to anyone — this is the best place to vacation. It is close to all malls and transportation food and the breakfast service offered is excellent! I am most eager to return!

Gran evenia location is superb in the center of the shopping and restaurant also it was easy for transport especially public transport. The staff was incredibly friendly even the custodians that clean the rooms. The front staff and the door men was excellent in the way the carried themselves diligently of the work that they do. Let me not forget the restaurant staff also willing to assist when asked. Errors were not the people but the building its becoming erode by wood lice please attend to it before it gets to late. And also when the cleaners came to clean they forget to sweep the wood lice from the doors

Misleading Description and Poor Service I was very disappointed with my stay at Hotel Gran Evenia in Panama City. The hotel advertised a pool, which turned out to be closed with no prior notice—a major letdown since it was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. When I raised the issue, the staff told me they would assist me, but then simply left for lunch and never followed up, while I waited for them. Their attitude was unhelpful and dismissive, and despite several attempts to contact them again, I never received any response. This experience fell far short of what any guest should expect. I would not return and do not recommend this hotel.

Would definitely stay here again. Rooms were pretty & comfy, parking was convenient, and breakfast was the cherry on top

We enjoyed 3 days at this lovely hotel. The breakfast was lovely . The resteraunt service is good the chef messed up one night but we enjoyed other places. The pool is relaxing. Staff are very helpful. We will stay again as we visit panama city regularly.
